I picked up another capra to add to the herd. Even snagged the JE Designs engine to go with it. Thanks tom, appreciate it brother! Sent from my SM-A516V using Tapatalk |

Upgraded my workspace this weekend. This was my birthday present from the wife. Loads of extra storage, and adjustable height. Before it was this table with a small tool cart under it. It was great for a lot of years, but the new box is a welcome improvement. |

We've been very happy with our other Kobalt 24v tools. So we just keep adding to the collection. Not pictured is the 24v brushless angle grinder that was also on sale. We bought the trimmer/blower combo while it was on sale, with a 4ah pack and charger for $140! And we decided that for Father's day, we are going to detail her Dad's truck, as he isn't able. So, MORE TOOLS!! 24v DA polisher, and the little blower/inflator that will be good for blowing out electronics, tools, etc. And, of course, detail stuff (already have a pressure washer, foam cannon, Kobalt cordless shop vac, etc) |

Technically, not my "latest purchase"...but, the correct one finally arrived. I ordered the steering wheel direct from R-Design about a month ago, but the wrong one was accidentally sent, which I didn't discover until after delivery. After emailing him, and including a photo of the incorrect wheel, he got the correct one shipped, which was delivered today. Although the blue of the wheel is a little bit lighter than the skin on the end before, it still looks fantastic. Best of all, being wider, as well as thicker, it's much easier to hold then the stock steering wheel. Not trying to 'sell' anyone on anything...and, I have absolutely NO connection, whatsoever, to R-Design...but, for anyone interested, he makes CNC machined steering wheels for several radios, in 2 different design styles, available in your choice of 10 different colors: https://www.rdesignrc.com/shop/p/ultrawidewheel ~ More peace, love, laughter, & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

Picked up some Kyosho 6.8mm ball ends to try on the Rfyt links when/if they fail on me. Also got a set of SSD OD Gears for the Front Portal boxes on the Capra. SSD +3 and stnd offset hexes w break discs for the Lil Gyshia build. Front wheels are rubbing so this will help stop that. Also have scale lugs for the rims on it. Also got this Vader adapter for the Flat Capra skid, but I plan on using it with the stock capra skid, but not on the capra. This will be for a Rock Racer build I want to get started. |

Finally, a quality, calibrated (incl certificate of calibration (which I didn't have to pay extra for)), caliper. I have been wanting a quality caliper for a while. I'll keep the Husky caliper as a 'backup', but these will be my "everyday use" ones...and, I am certain, they will get a LOT of use. Cars, trucks, buggies, boats, etc, of my collection...rejoice. Your links/turnbuckles will finally have truly accurate lengths. ~ More peace, love, laughter, & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

Omg I would love a digital caliper. I've been using a plastic HF caliper since who knows when.

Purchasing a good set of calipers is one of those things that make you say "How did I go so long without these??".

Yep! The older I get, the more I appreciate things that reduce fatigue and speed up the job. Another one that I wish I had had when I was younger ( finally purchased maybe 15-20 yrs ago) is my drill press. i really don't know how I went so many years without. I even use it to press bearings. Also for anyone considering buying a quality caliper... mine has a depth gauge that I never thought I'd really use but I do often. I paid maybe $40 +/- although that's been some years ago. BTW, Panther... Those are nice! |

I've actually never used a caliper until I got in this hobby. But just tools in general, I'm the type that would buy a tool that I specifically need to get something done. Add to the collection slowly.

The TBS Crossfire (to be plugged into my Radiolink RC8X) finally arrived. Now, instead of being "limited" to only 300-600m, I can control a vehicle miles away. ~ More peace, love, laughter, & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

Spec RC billet rings for their beadlocks. A little on the aggressive side of looks but this is also less rotational mass eh lol. |
