I picked up an Arma Vendetta during Horizon Hobby's "Christmas in July" event. Seriously, who could pass up a $370 RC when it's on sale for $200. But, as many know, a 'stock' Vendetta orange exactly a "great" vehicle ..heck, it's barely "mediocre" - it NEEDS upgrades right out of the box.

I classify 'upgrades' into three categories (as I'm sure others also do): handling, performance, & aesthetics. The first round came in the form of carbon fiber parts, for handling improvements - splitter, rear side bat-wings, and some pieces for under the body (to better direct air flow). Also included was one performance upgrade, in the form of a custom center driveshaft from KaniZ RC.

Today, parts for the second round of upgrades...performance upgrades...arrived - aluminum motor mount, splined steel & aluminum driveshafts, slipper eliminator, upgrade center driveshaft bearing, hardened steel Mod 1 38T spur gear, and two hardened steel Mod 1 pinions (16T & 20T). The spur & pinion gears equate to the same tooth counts of the Mod 0.8 gears that came with the Vendetta (ie. these gears won't increase the vehicle's speed any more than the factory-included gears).

Nice toy. Been thinking of a dirt squirter myself. More for trailing around the area.
I have issues riding my Ironhead. Setting in one position too long gets my legs numb and coming to a stand still can lead to be and that 800lb pig laying on the road waiting to turn. lol It sucks. smdh>
But on a dirt squirter I'd be standing most the time and not just setting letting my back pinch up and make my legs numb.

My parents have a track around their back yard we chase each other on pit bikes on. So I had to get a pit bike if you know what I mean. A bunch of adults on pit bikes is a blast.

Well, ive been tryin to hold out on the trx4m, but for $150, i couldnt pass it up. Dixieland rc was setup at halloween haul n crawl with alot of rigs for sale. Still kickin my tail for not snaggin a new redcat ascent, they sold out in a matter of a couple hrs. Somebody said cody even sold his personal ascent.

But any whos, i picked up the blue defender today. But as soon as the ford is released to the public, im snatchin up a couple of the brown ones. Reminds me of the ol highboys my dad had when i was a kid. Goina give him one for christmas. Perfect size for him to take otr with him

I bought some goodies for my Vanquish Fordyce. Brass wheel rings, brass knuckles and rear wheel weights. I'm also going to try out the 1800kv Fusion SE.

Picked up a new 2024 Honda CRV EX this weekend.

When your kid borrows your CRV to work 7 hours up north to save on gas for a few months. But then falls asleep at the wheel at 4:45am going to wok and going 60 mph. He could've been going faster since he fell asleep and mashed the gas pedal. 60mph was the last speed he saw he was doing. Hits and snaps a telephone pole in a ditch. Then hits a embankment in the ditch and flips your CRV end over end. You can see point of impact was the upper rear hatch. Then the drivers door opens on first roll and then rolls over on the drivers side with the drivers door open. See how the drivers door is folded in half. And then rolls back onto the roof and slides into a 2nd telephone pole.

He walked away with some cuts and bruises and sprained wrist.

So why wouldn't you buy another CRV after that.

Holy crap! Thank God hes ok, other than the scratches n sprains. Its quite scarey to make it where youre goin, but not remember any of it. But that right there is enough to make a guy, or gal, wanna pull over n catch a 20 min nap. Better to be late n make it, than to push n not make it
