I don't know if it's just an optical illusion in the photos, but the Fox truck seems to have a more pronounced hood scoop in some angles. Also the Rigid truck doesn't have the number plates installed like on the Fox truck. I love the subtle differences like this and the wheels. I do wish it was a multi-piece body so replacement would be easier and cheaper. Hopefully Proline or somebody else gets on that. Unfortunately, I think any aftermarket body will be one-piece as well. |

yeah the wheel change especially. thats a substantial mold investment to do 2 sets of wheels. sticker are cheap. i wonder if the Rigid is more of a desert racer, and the Fox is more of a Torq truck? i think there is little chance of a Proline Super Baja rey body (as ive mentioned i hate the cheesy headlights/grill in that body) but i think they might just make something for the UDR. just praying its not a raptor/ford....... dont really care if its 1 piece or 4. |

It probably wouldn’t be to terrible to cut the box sides off the body and add 2 screws in the cab counters there is a screw in the bottom of the box side so you would just need to make a tab to move it. But I’m just going off the pictures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Over on the traxxas forums, somebody think that traxxas is trying to kill axial because of this truck. Personally I don’t see why as a yeti score and this shouldn’t even be compared? It’s kinda like comparing a Losi trail trekker to a scx10 2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Have to give Traxxas props here. The truck looks fantastic and the videos they are putting out are equally fantastic. For short videos, they do some fine shooting and editing.

I am drooling all over this truck... Pissed my wife right off when I got home today and mentioned there is another "must have" RC. The thought crossed my mind... Traxxas did a great job with the TRX4, looks like they knocked it outta the park with the Trophy Truck, What if... What if... they come out with an Ultra4 racer next. How bad ass could that be?!? |

Looks like Kraken is launching their 1/5 scale TSCO TT as well! Good lord - what a great time to be in RC!

Can't say any production trophy truck has excited me much until now, that promo vid was insanely good and the amount of scale really is great. That rear axle design is also very interesting. I can imagine 4S should be plenty of power since the truck is still smaller than a Yeti XL, but 6S will be there for the sadists that want to break everything.

| Re: 1/7 scale Traxxas If traxxas keeps releasing trucks that are as scale as this and axial blunders along with unscale shit like the scx10.2 transmission? Sure thing, traxxas will kill axial.
