at the bottom of the screen...

THAT NEVER GOES AWAY!

You guys are certainly making it hard to stay on here.

But, if that goes away, then how will I know how to get to the Verizon: In-Store Pick Up?

I only browse on my phone with no app BS at all and it doesn't bother me much. For whatever reason the adds don't seem all the intrusive other than the random pop up but that's a screen yap away from being gone.

The only popups i get are when i first click on a thread. I close it out n it goes away. Then theres the banner at the top n bottom of the page, but no 'huge' banner or popup anywhere else. Im on the website on my phone. Just wish i could post pics straight from the phone without a 3rd party host

I'm having this issue when I use my fully updated gaming PC running Windoze 10 and current Chrome browser.

I'll test some other browsers and maybe add a browser extension to see if I can get rid of it.

Drives me nuts, because I have a gorgeous 32" curved-screen monitor and yet my browsing experience is uniformly AWFUL!

Ad Blocker is your friend.

I see ZERO ads of any kind.

You use Chrome, then get the uBlock Origin Ad Blocker. 100% recommend. Do a Google Search. You will find it in the Chrome Web Store. Simply click on the button to "Add to Chrome".

I am a Sys Admin and I put it on all my computers at work and home. I have no troubles with pop-ups.

Its browser dependent, not OS. So google adblocker for whatever browser you use. I use all 3, Firefox, Edge and Chrome on my work Mac and have ad blocking extensions on all (built in on Edge!)

I read up on 'em here before going with uBlock Origin based on the recommendation from Chiphead and the article:

I am still hoping (waiting patiently) for the changes to happen for the better of our beloved forum, i bought into the hype at the beginning of the year that this was happening...now i am saddened because i feel besides a couple of admin hanging around no one else sems to care

I'm less concerned with site changes but more concerned about finding ways to re-invigorate the site and bring it back to the thriving hub that it used to be.

Having said that, I'm just as guilty as anyone for not posting more or trying to create engaging content that people want to talk about. I just find that social media has burned me out on everything online and I just can't find the energy to post nowadays. My exhaustion primarily comes from the FB and Reddit crowds that are so bogged down with bad info and anytime you try to help, you get attacked by a bunch of inexperienced (but often well intentioned) people that think they know better and feel the need to increase their ego by attacking yours. I'm even surprised I finished this post, three times I almost deleted it because I just can't be bothered to engage online.

We can't even hardly bring in new users because the software is so old that the email doesn't work and new users can't be verified.
