That might have me re-thinking a plane choice.
The apprentice is probably a better plane to learn on than a warbird. Looks like Saturday may be the day to come check it out and you are more than welcome to try out my P51.

Saturday does sound like the best day. I will also let people try out my P-47 thunderbolt if they want, as long as the trainer cable is hooked up.

Only if the airsoft is attached to your plane. We have discussed it...

I'll call everyone tomorrow and we can decide what would be easiest for everyone. Someone will post up when we figure it out.

Thats the other thing! I think the apprentice can handle the weight of a airsoft gun.

I say we hit Castle Rock again. That was a nice field , unless Chatfield is better but I assume that place gets crowded on the weekends.

What do you think of this http://www.rc-cam.com/combat.htm wouldnt be as fun as strapping a gun to the plane but also wouldnt result in fireballs coming from the sky.

I gotta tell you, for anyone looking for a first plane, I don't think you can go wrong with an Apprentice. For $300 you get a ready to fly plane. It even comes with a battery and charger. The handling is smooth and forgiving. When you get comfortable you can start with some rolls and loops. The loops are tight and the rolls were smooth. Once I master this plane, I'll pick up a warbird but for now I'm going to enjoy flying this thing.

Saturday would be fun, I'll have the little guys all day, so I guess we might be good for an hour or so before they get bored.

That thing would look like mulched shark meat by the time we were done with it.

They might be entertained for a while with the way we fly.

HA Just another fish out of water. Cover the whole thing in epoxy then tape and it might last two or three flights. Got to love Chinese styrofoam.

Great shots, thanks for sharing. I've been thinking about a plane for awhile now... This just might push me to get one.

That was an awesome day fellas Nice to meet you Chad, and I already forgot the other guys name. Definately answered a few question I had on some things, and still have more new stuff to figure out.

Ty needs some retracts on his P-47, just doesn't look quite right with the gear down.

I saw someone walking in the field picking up parts as I pulled out of the parking lot...hope it wasn't the plane I'm thinking it was
