edit: Did you warm the stickers up or just pull them off? I usually use a hair dryer for stickers so there is no goo left behind, but don't want to warp anything. Last edited by C*H*U*D; 11-22-2011 at 08:43 AM.

When the stickers came off, so did the kid gloves And I want a Grudge Match with every single one of you who passed me in the free for all Trophy Heat....so that means pretty much all of you! Especially Jeff who lapped me in the Rally heat with only 2 wheel drive. And I think I know what Jason has planned with the all white truck |

| I let the body sit in the boiler room at work for an hour, then peeled them off. It still ended up leaving some of the goo behind so I used rubbing alcohol to get it all off.

I'm planning on a little practice/tune session tomorrow (wednesday) around 10ish if anyone has the day off and wants to meet up. Can't make it saturday though, damn retail job!

10am sounds good to me. I'll try to be there a bit early if I can. I'm bummed to hear about your TT getting delayed in shipping Todd. |

A lot of people we talking about this thread at last night's sporty comp...wouldn't be surprised if more people started showing interest. I was talking to Rodney last night, and like I told him I'm out for Saturday. I have to take advantage of the nice weather to finish getting the house ready for winter. Without any help from my girlfriend, I'm on my own. |

Just a little info on the Trophy Trucks. I was looking at motors to replace my stocker before it dies so I was curious what the KV of the 15T Fireball is. So I pulled the motor hooked it up to my cordless drill, and hooked up a volt meter. Here is what I came up with for KV of some motors I had laying around.
The KV I measured for the Holmes 35T Handwound is super close to what JRH specs it at (1565 KV) so these numbers are reasonably accurate. THis should help those who are going motor shopping. Eventually I will run mine on 3S but I will choose a low KV motor that will keep the same speed as stock on 2S. Last edited by Grizzly4x4; 11-23-2011 at 11:35 PM.

I thought we could only run 2s? I just ordered 4 2s packs... I put a motor in mine, the Venom 15x2, and drove it around in the backyard for a minute. I geared it stock (18t) and the motor gets real hot, I brought it inside and just ran the motor for a bit with no load, a couple times it gave me a little puff of smoke. Turkey day is tomorrow, I work 14hours on friday, and saturday is the race, I'm not feeling real optimistic about this motor lasting at all. |
