What's all this boat talk for?? I thought this was the "Interest in Trophy Trucks" thread

Went up to the testing facility today. Windy as Hell but I was able to drive for about 20 minutes. Then I did some trail exploring. Tons of potential for cool tracks up there. Once Clint gets his Trophy Truck, I think the 3 of us can rake a course in about 30 minutes. Then we can practice, test and tune so we can bring the hurt to the boys in the south

Great news Juan. Can't wait to hit it. The North will be victorious!!

Back to rally cars.......

My wheels and tires showed up today!! They are going to be kick ass. I've got more travel and softer suspension thanks to some shock swapping this weekend. The rear diff is still locked due to a part shortage, but the front is a rebuilt ball diff so maybe the locked rear will help me kick it out. I tested it out last night and everything seems to be working.

I'm just finishing up my interior plate so that I can put my Rally Team China figures in.

I think we were talking about 10am tomorrow, but its pretty relaxed, do some practice laps then we can try the same format we used at Craig's.

- 3 laps timed best lap recorded
- head to head first and last 2nd and 2nd to last, etc.
- non qualifier shoot out.
- 2nd round head to head
- third round head to head
- LCQ
- winners bracket head to head
- Finals

- For fun all vehicles at once.

Thats how we did it right Jeff? Kinda?

Your welcome to at the very least come down and check it out, I am sure there will be some loaner vehicles floating around. Plus I have enough batteries were we could both run my mini trophy truck.

Its all in fun chief, come check it out!

Sweet!

Glad you are starting to remember. No need to get stuck in that gas bubble.

Can't wait for tomorrow morning!!
I just have a couple small things left to do on the Team China rally car and the mini trophy is ready to go.

Sorry Juan, I won't have time to get the TA02 running.

LOL I don't think there is a single corner that thing could make it around.

If you do groom the track please do it today. I hate the sound of those things.

So I was looking at my Mini Trophy, thinking of adding a second rear shock, when I noticed my trailing arm doesn't have an opening for the second shock. There is a hole for the screw though.

Do I have to pop some plastic piece off?

EDIT: Never mind, I found it.

While you were back there, did you notice if your right rear hangs lower than your left rear?
