Hey guys, I know it's a week and a half before the season starts, but what do you think about using a minimum scale points to compete? Kinda like UTRCRC uses? And not putting scale points towards the score?

I was really hoping to do exactly what the rules committee wrote up. I think doing things differently, defeats the point of having a set of rules in the first place. If we run them as they are, we then have real world examples of situations that do or do not work for future revisions.

The rules state that scale point mini/max is determined by the organizer so what ever minimum you decide on is fine by me.

i like the other way too...i think that more scale points and them coming into play encourages better builds...just my 2 cents

I agree, it would simplify things. But I would really like to see how the SORRCA rules work out so we can give feedback.
