The pontoons are a "not mandatory, but highly recommended" challenge for each individual G6'er or soon to be G6'er. It appears that your pontoon craft is a quick, but very effective and ingenious build. Your buddy flying in would probably appreciate you duplicating the build for him.

absolutly YES!!! Would you let your buddy stay stuck on the Rubicon when you had what he needed all the time? Hell to the double frikin NO!!! This is scale adventure at its finest... Of course, the one who makes it should obviously get the first crack at a challange, but all in all, we are ALL in this TOGETHER!!!!

Just my two cents... [/QUOTE]

Some of the most valuable two cents ever, but the scenario is different. In this G6 driving challenge, your buddy is not "stuck" and has an alternate route to achieve the same destination. You have chosen to accept the added adventure responsibility of having pontoons. There may or may not be the option to multi-use a GFD or G-Ride Floatation Device, but like always, Drivers Meeting is where your adventure details will be finalized.

LOL.

Get your vacation on, G6'er, but your right.

How far you take the "not mandatory, but highly recommended" items is up to you and how much you like to build. This challenge just says pontoons. There are some builders that will take it to this...

...and some will be a little more sketchy. For example,

But it's not mandatory. While some will choose the adventure that floating their G-Ride across, down, or up a river will bring, others will keep to dry land and enjoy that adventure.

Do Work and choose your route to adventure!

You never know the background of a fellow g6'r just know that you are there for the same thrill of the adventure. The adventure maybe similar but never duplicated.

801rcc is gathering the troops tonight for an Axialfest registration party.

Should have 4 more 2.2 Ultra drivers before the day is out.

A couple of us started our pontoon boats already, will mash heads tonight on that too.

I'm doing the 2.2 adventure as this will literally be my first competition.
Hope I'm not disappointed as the rest of the the Sonoma Scalers are doing ultra.

you guys are getting me excited with the countdown. I'm trying to stay focused for a few more days. After Friday, I'm on vacation and can dedicate a few days to Axialfest prep.

It's getting closer...

Weather is looking good if it holds true! However, the show must go on rain or shine!
