I'll be waiting to order up 2 of those. I really like the LED's I sometimes forget if my dig is still on or not mid comp, I'm gonna try to mount mine so I can see the lights through the windows on the body.

oh, one more question. Can we pre-order the shorting version now? or should we wait for that one to come out? |

| Every unit that ships will short the motor. If you don't want it to short, anybody can wire it to NOT short the motor in a very simple way. They will ship with a diagram showing how to wire it both ways.

This idea is great. To make it perfect, hardwire 3 deans connectors to it so it could be plug and play.

| Would anyone be interested in one with build in dean connectors (Ultra Plugs)? I may experiment with that idea. For now I think they may just have the big solder pads.

I would be, but at 50 bucks its kinda steep IMO. Freaking love the idea, but I just got my dig switch box done for like 15 bucks. That thing would sell like mad around 30 ish, but i personally dont know what its costing to make those. Im guessing if they are 50 they are costing at least 30 to make... |

I prefer the solder pads...because its easier for me to wire it than to try to fit in more connectors.

I'd also prefer to just use solder pads. Unless the Deans were situated so that they lye down exiting the board to the side...it would make the wires stick up. The solder pads also leaves it open to use for a more broad range of peoples wiring. |

I was thinking if they were pre wired with out connectors. Sort of like an ESC. This way you can choose what type of connector you would like to install (Bullet, Deans, etc...) plus it gives you the option on the length of the wires to the connector so it fits your set up. I am one that does like the option to install connectors. When I am at a comp, I like the having a back up set up so all I have to do is swap, plug and play.

I would like just the solder pads too. That way i can wire it up how ever i like. I am not a big fan of all the big dean pugs all over the rig.

Here is how I look at it. Why does anyone run an ESC when a mechanical speed control is avaliable? They cost 5-10X as much? But, the just fro a MSC to ESC is a dirrence in function. So I don't think this version will stop the DigAMaJigs totally. It comes down to more than function, but reliability, install, etc...

Very cool... Any work around ideas for getting your dig to work in a Super with rear steer, a CC BEC and a Spektrum SR3500 micro Rx? |

I think the idea of pre-wired DEANS would be great as an option when ordering. I'd buy it.
