The sinewave start did nothing that I could see. Which I was expecting would be obvious like with am32. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk | |

I don't know much about blheli32 honestly. I don't think it asks about pole count. Just try it out. Check the mountains post. He shared a link with blheli settings that he said work well. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk |

| Re: Silent outrunner and ESC for less then $60 Thank you for your response, the reason I asked because in the AM32 configurator there is an option for the motor poles, whereby in BLHeli_32 Suite there is none. Just want to make sure it is safe to run my 6 pole inrunner with the BLHeli_32.

Ok so having changed a couple of the settings its not the motor timing its the rampup power set to 130%. Having set it back to 40% I've noticed it is actually still doing it just a lot less pronounced so I didn't even notice the behaviour the first time I tested it. So the question is, do you know what the benefit of having the rampup set to 130%, more power at low throttle?

Not all of the ESCs perform the same. The settings will vary. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk |

| Re: Silent outrunner and ESC for less then $60 Well I have to admit that I joined the AM32 club ....and its a whole different level I got a flashed iflight on my HH snubnose and its ridiculous...way worth the effort.. Still think a blheli32 esc is a good and cheap way....would recommend it to all who want to try though.

Most of my testing happens on a bench with just a motor and no vehicle. On the bench what I noticed you get from a lower rampup is a lower initial startup speed. Raising the rampup increases the minimum speed. It seems like the lower speed has much less torque. But with different rampups at the same rpm I don't think the torque is any different. Regardless of these settings, blheli cannot drive the motor as slow or with as much low end torque as am32. Which to me, is what crawling is all about. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk |
