My very first RC vehicle!!! I manage to keep this one just about as stock as I could. No dye on this one, but I did plenty after this one!
Notice the Lunsford turnbuckles, they are the very first set he sold.

Now I'm dating myself.

Yep, all state of the art for the time. You look at the RC10 and the innovation of that car for the early 80s, and it was amazing!

Great looking RC10! Good to see that it is still in stock form after all these years. I always get a kick out of seeing these classics! I'm glad I kept mine and still can get them out to look at and reminisce about the good ole days of offroad racing. These AE buggies is the reason why I am so excited about the new Element.

Nice Lunsford's. I had or still have a set somewhere that I had installed on my RC10 Latemodel conversion.

Back then the Rit dye I used was in powder form in a square box.

That's cool to see someone else other than me still has there T-4 adjustment tool!

Few will realize how revolutionary that chassis was...

If you had any notions of being competitive, you had to have one. They still drive beautifully...

In don’t recall it being difficult but I believe I used my Dewalt 8v driver on it so who knows. If I didn’t mention it in the video, I probably didn’t notice it.

I look forward to when we can buy the shocks as a unit, for other rigs.

Btw, those guys know how to make a good website. Nothing fancy, just works.

So sorry about getting off topic as you said! The title of this thread does say Team Associated and we where talking about the quality of their products. Just saying!

Pretty!!!! Thanks for the eye candy Mike!

I moved my pre-order from the RTR to a kit, so I think I have a couple more weeks to wait.

You need an electric driver with clutch in your life.

I'm expecting a call from my LHS that my RTR is in. Will probably place an order for the kit when I pick up the RTR. I like the body enough on the RTR to pick that up and run with it, and I'll be able to add those additional option parts later on.

Will need to start selling some rigs, toys, something....

P.S. If anyone races and wants to buy a brand new unbuilt Tekno EB410 w/new JConcepts body LMK!

Do you like the gyro to control it? I've thought about buying one, but I'm afraid the gyro might drive me nuts not doing what I was trying to do.

I have the same driver and it is very handy having that control of speed and direction at the twist of your wrist! I really like using it as a driver to tap my small holes. (4-40 and 3mm) I also have Black and Decker with a clutch, and usually have them both with on my bench with a driver in them. The Dewalt also has a spring lock to hold driver in the chuck.

Sorry, I got off topic again, second time today.
