I wanted to ask. What is your clearance off the front skid? I'm sittin' right under 3inches but would like a tad more. Are you also running 3.5inch shocks?
I tried the heat gun, but I just kept stretching the sticker rather then getting it applied right, I ended up just saying forget and stopped being so picky. Sticker application is not my specialty lol.

I have the 4" big bores on. I can't recall my clearance of the top of my head, but I'll measure it again once I get the rig back together (maybe tonight) However I do know, where it sat was near perfect.

At long beach only a handful of drivers were able to make if up and over a ledge gate, I was one of them. Then at Cisco Grove the first gate on one course many were forced to take as there cars couldn't make the obstacle without hanging on the belly, so they were going with the bump of throttle and hoping for the best. I and 3 other Rock Logic chassis rolled the break over with ease, but were not to high, as these things side hill like crazy too!

Just wish I personally could put it all together without making driver errors. Its a great feeling knowing your crawler is more capable then you are mentally sometimes lol.

The capacitor is 1000uF 16V. Perfect for 3s. Surprised my local electronics store we use for work had em!

Front section belly height is 3 1/4" and rear is 3 1/2" .

Just finished the rig and I'm at 5lb 4oz. I was at 5lb 11.3 oz. Just where I want to be!

looks real nice!....I'm kinda wondering why such a mild bend on those rear lowers?....looks like you could get better clearence with more bend but maybe you like the less bent for some reason??

I had the rear lower at one point and it was level, just haven't added a bend as I hate bending links.

I haven't seen it personally, but I've heard stories of less than desireable consequences of removing the bump on hard landings. These days...landings are becoming more common with all the jumps...drop offs...etc. After dropping the coin for a set of nice gears, spending the time drilling them and the work put into the cases themselves, I'd rather deal with a 2-3mm "bump" than not...

I've seen locals make a bracket that goes across the front of the gear box. It's raised up though so it doesn't drag on the rocks. But they did that so the case open.

i don't think I've ever really gotten hung up and said to myself "man if
Only I ground that nub off"

I try my best to drive knowing my tires need to hit first before my axle does.
