Well work has really been kicking me in the butt lately and has killed my toy playing plans. Finally finished it friday afterwork. Then changed a bunch of stuff again. By 3am I clocked the c's more, limited my shocks, dropped the ride height, moved some links and changed a bunch of foams. Today I plan to change the motors out and I should be good.

I'm at 2 3/4" at the front links and 3" at the back links.

I limited my rear shocks 1/4" internally which got my geometry back in check. Minus my lack of driving this thing really works well.

My steering was nice, but it needed some more caster. I was at 5* using the holes in the tubes, I went ahead and added 10* more and it seems to be perfect and steers crazy! You can also see I added some weight up front to get my weight basis where it should be.

RTR I'm at 4lb 6oz with battery and panels. I'm brainstorming a few more things to get some weight out, but it'll be fine for this weekend.

My steering links worked out near perfect. Nothing wrong with straight links!

I have a Nikon D40 with stock lens. Its truly nothing special and in fact sucks 90% of the time. I have to try very hard to get decent pictures. At the time it was a high end camera at a price range I could afford, now its a rather cheap and there are much much better options.

I try to take as decent pics as I can.

The amount of caster looks crazy. Do you know the angle?

I would like to see it run at BOTW and see how those 8* knuckles react with that much caster.

Somewhere around 15-20. I don't feel it's to much and think it drives amazing. I on the other hand I need to learn the truck more. I tend to be able to 4wheel alot more then I use to and it'll side hill very good. Trusting the truck is what I'm lacking because of the little drive time.

Damb William looking good. My Jenny Craig weight loss didn't go as well as yours but with the little time I have driven mine on my practice pile it seems really stable at the 5lbs 2.6 oz. After Best of the West I plan to continue my weight loss.

See you thIs weekend. Lets have some Beer's.

TowerHobbies.com | K&S Round Aluminum Tube 3/16" .049" (5)

Or you can get it already tapped from DLUX in shorter lengths.

Tapped for 3mm screws. Really make rigs stronger and more stable, plus lighter than Delrin, not to mention smaller.

Thanks, In order to really take advantage of the HD's you gotta run some caster No point in running a 70* capable shaft unless you try to use as much of the 70* as possible. Some people may still not like the caster, but they didn't get to try that caster with the added 20* of steering.

I haven't been able to drive mine as much as I'd like, however I have had some drive time behind SDS rig and the things I can do with it, and the things it'll allow one to do is simply nuts. I took a year off and its amazing the hurdles these cars have come sense then. My skills are rusty, but I know my car in capable hands drives very well based on my recent practice sessions. Me making it look good on the other hand, well ya know

I really think it depends on many factors two most important being weight and driving style.

I waded my truck up pretty good on this rock out here in wendover today. If u look at my epic fail of scores you'll see I tumbled a few times too lol.

My links suffered no issues. I also used the same material for my steering link and drag link and the hitec servo at 7.4v didn't hurt them.

This truck preformed very well today, it did lines I would have never thought possible or did without the coaching of my spotters. I on the other hand just couldn't put my brain into the radio today and the bad scores washed out my good ones.

I took alot of chances and went for the bonuses in hopes of scoring big. It was what was needed to win, I just couldn't put it down.

Learning this truck would have helped me so much, just didn't have the time to get any practice in.

Good day, good courses, good times
