I'm trying my hardest to get the prices down but to get my foot in the door it was rather expensive.

I can promise its still cheaper to build a bullet proof berg gear section then an XR10 lol.

Its looking like for a 4340 lighter then stock gear we'll be about $30.00. If I can get my gear tooling cost down, the pricing will go down with it. If popularity is higher then I suspect then my orders will increase, which also means a price break for everyone. Just like all my
Items, I'm trying to help fill a void, make my cost back and a few bucks. I'm not looking to buy a new car or house lol. Doing everything I can to drop prices.

It must be noted that on the 3rd gear we are eliminating the built in standoff and replacing it with a supplied spacer/shim. Only difference is with this method we can cut more gears with the material we have splined.

I'll be in for two sets. If the aluminum doesn't hold up in the front. I'm positive they will in the rear.

If alu holds up I'll order 2 cases worth and have you ship to Erik for pin groove enlargement. If not then the 4340, same deal with pin groove.

Do you think the 4340 could take 6 speed holes as well? If I end up with those, we will find out, since I already have an extreme lightened set as backups

These are cut from a company specializing in gears only.

I'm sure the extra holes are possible but after we are finished milling it's hard to say the weight saving would even be noticeable.

Every milligram counts?

Anything I can remove from the rotating mass I want too. If I need those mg back, I can then choose where I want it

I understand the theory Was more trying to say why we didn't add the holes.

I got some packs in last night and the gears are holding up great and running smooth, I was not kind on them either Should be soon when I can start the pre-order.

Took the rig apart last night and and finished assembly this morning. Finished the aluminum chassis braces and removed the spacers and replaced with the same material. Inspected the gears and all is well. Found a blown bearing in one of my knuckles and removed some brass out of the front. Then finally got a set of Egressor Delrin body shocks on the rig.

I still need to remove some weight, just not looking to spending the $$ to do so just yet. I'm sitting at 4lb7oz RTR. Just need the darn rain to quit now, and no I'm not some sissy, just hate drying foams out all the time lol. Hoping to get some rock in my shop during the holiday weekend.
