I hope so, changing them out was a royal pita.
Small upgrade today. Installed some high octane stearing. Also a pic of the hood finished. I like the hood better this way, that bar under the panel bugged me.

Fits in there with room to spare.

Huh. Always wondered what it would look like with the panel on top.

I go back and forth on the 7980. Might have to slap it back in. I always like it when I do.

Up to now I have not been cought up on the lip. The only issue I have had is on slanted break overs it slides off line. This causes me to jump them insteAd of slide over.

I can honestly say that it have increased my roll over capability greatly. If you are running any rig that will not compress the shock fully you need a sniper fab chassie brace. It has allowed me to roll over every time I was on my lid today.

get ahold of this guy for a chassie brace. If you get points for a rollover this season you can only blame yourself for not installing one.

The 7980 is awesome. I will not be swapping it out any time soon. I can not see using anything else after seing all the areas that a more powerful strearing helps.

How does the chassis brace help with roll overs?

The mod allows my shocks to fully compress when i am on my lid. That allows all 4 tires to touch the ground with enough weight to be affective. With the stock chassie brace on it would limit my shocks a about 1/2" from fully compressed. I can lift the chassie 3/8" off the table now before the tires leave the surface. if you look at the pic you will notice there is some more shock to utilize. It has helped greatly with my rollover ability.

Hey thanks Sean. Man it would be great if you started crawling with us again. I love this rig, it does amazingly well at making me look like a good driver. I have a full set of bergs if you want to use them. I am not shure if the xr's were ever worthy. lol Shure i will catch slack from that. After watching ppl strip gear after gear i never tried them. Holler at me it you want to use that set of axles i have. Also if you need any other parts i have enough to build a decent comp rig here at the house.

Well we had our 2nd comp and my lack of drive time for the last couple years reared its ugly head. I can positively say none of it was the rigs fault. It was the only rig to run the first course cleanly. On the 2nd course i got offline in a hole. As i rolled over i took out a gate, causing me to loose my mojo lol , and putting me short on time. I finished the 2nd and 3rd courses but strugled through both.

4.rockstomp.19..-9...30..40

As i have 35 packs or so on this rig now i pulled it apart and gave it the once over. Also while apart i gave the com a once over. Being a Team driver for Mr. Holmes i like to keep the motors running in top shape.
