Are you running any rear weight? I have the stainless weights fully loaded and brass knuckles so I'm around 10oz of knuckle weight per corner. I think I am going to start with around 2oz per corner in the rear.

How much are you looking to add?

I'm not really looking to add any. The truck is working great where it is. But it's so easy to add... I figure I'll load them up just to see how the trucks acts. See if you guys know what you are talking about or if you are just smoking something hallucinogenic

Everybody is going to be like the anorexic girl in high school that breaks one day and says "screw it". We are going to have to pull your car out of the house by cutting the house and bringing in the forklift

Actually, I am not die hard on the rear weights. I took mine off a week or so ago and I don't necessarily think my car is more capable with them on, just easier to drive/less mistakes.

Bottom picture is great!

Didnt realize that you were still running a prototype rear upper link mount. Gotta keep that in mind when we talk setups.

I have been experimenting with link positions and weight. It's a lot of fun until you do something that totally screws up the performance and you don't know why .

I am also considering non 8* knuckles. (Which is just a matter of changing to some different screw holes in the knuckles I have) I would also need different chubs. I've never really been interested in trying non 8* before, but Dlux and some others have me curious.

I've had both and I prefer non 8* over 8*.

Got another set of wheels for the weight system from DLUX. This set will get a special foam treatment and my alternate Battlegrounds tires.

It was awesome to watch you drive at ECC and I'm glad your making it to battlegrounds. Still being in my first season it's fun to watch experienced guys stomp the stuff that still baffles me.

How is this car working for you now that you have had some time with it?

Take it to any sweet comps?

This is my BattleGrounds Recap.

I'm very lucky to be part of such a great group as ETRC. Normally I travel with Pdog, but he couldn't make this one. Greencrawler signed up to go, so it was the two of us for this one. The plan was to try and get him on the podium. I ran all the courses first and found all the holes, shortcuts, time savers, and tricks.... then showed and spotted for him. It may have worked, but Friday when we started practicing, one of his ESCs malfunctioned. We had to go to the room and change out all of his electronics with the ones in the spare truck we took. Between having all different electronics, and a new truck he had only driven one time before... his day could have gone better. But he never let it get him down.

I don't like keeping up with my scores, and I try not to listen to other people talking about theirs. I'd rather not know. I did know the Dlux Ultra was laying down some good runs though. I ran the Rovers and they never missed a climb. I mostly chose them because Ryan won with them last year... but they also seemed to pick up less mud and wet sand than the pins. All of the pin tires were slipping pretty bad when they got muddy, and there was lots of opportunity for them to get muddy.

After 5 courses I was told I was in 1st. Green and I chilled until finals, then I discovered my rear motor was about to fall off . I scrambled around to take the case apart to reset tighten the motor and reset the mesh, then I was told I'd need a big battery .

Having only 430 mah batteries, I found an old 800. Green fabbed up an adapter plug to go from Deans to the micro plug so I could use it, then I had to charge it. Once on course, I knew I needed to finish, because Winner1,2,3 did. I'm not sure if it was the bigger battery taxing the ECSs, but every time I'd get the rear in a jam, it would quit. I had several panic moments during the course because of it. It did finish though. Troy had a better finals course than me... but the previous scores held up. Whew. Kbrog was also in the mix all day making things at the end VERY tight.

Thank you Erik Dlux! You have provided me with an entire truck, basically. The most accurate thing I can say is that it just works. Also thank you for letting me in on all the secret squirrel stuff.

Eddio O at Brood powered the rig with some Team Edition Stubbies. He KNOWS motors! I've had these for several months now and they still feel new.

Krawler Konceptz is responsible for the wickedly pimp skins and artwork. The Sugga skins are awesome!

And my Bros at ETRC always keep me on my toes and in practice. Thanks Guys!
