I have run a setup like the channel you are running on my bully. I liked it but may have went too far with it. I eliminated the inner foam it was way too stiff. It made me scared to launch off of big drops. What holds the inner tire bead?

I really appreciate all the help and parts this weekend. In a short time you showed me 3 minor changes I needed to do to help my rig out. You have an eye for being able to watch a rig and see what it needs for improvement. Not to mention a dang good driver yourself! Thanks again for all the help and glad I got to help you a little in the end to bring the win back to Tennessee!!

It glues against the inner wheel... on the inside of the tire

I have been playing around with the suspension a little on the Ultra. I was having trouble with an odd quirk. (The rear lifting in certain downhill turns) In one of my Trial and Error steps, I switched shocks from the Big Bores to my Egressor Shocks.

Big Bores are far superior to the SCX shocks. They don't leak, they are smooth as silk, and with the MIP kit... they are crazy tunable.

However... in my application, the Egressors solved my issue. I think it has something to do with my rear shock length and angle. The Big Bores and the Egressors can be made to the exact same extended length. The big difference is the compressed length. The Egressor has a shorter body and gets more travel. That allows me to stand the shock up at a better angle without losing any travel.

With the shock standing straighter, at the correct height, and with the same amount of wheel travel as before, these shocks will do all the same things as the Big Bores, without the quirk.

Now I would like to figure out how to make the big bores work the same way.

Your egressor's leak?
Do your egressor's have the new machined piston?

I was truly a huge fan of my bigbores till I ran a set of tuned egressors on my light trucks. Now I will not go back. Are you running the same spring on both shocks and same length?

No. I did an apples / oranges thing there. I was talking about Egressors then I compared the big bores to scx shocks. That was a little misleading.

The Egressors don't leak. And mine feel great. I have mini T silver's all the way around. The big bores were using pink springs.

Still.... The big bores have the advantage IMO because of the MIP kits added tunability.

Finally got some of these trick pieces. It's amazing how light they are. In the hand, they seem a bit stiffer than the delrin ones I have. My camera didn't like focusing on the black color, but you can see the formed Dlux emblem. That's a nice detail. Thanks D!

We are two comps into our 2015 season in ETRC. I have a 2nd and a 4th place finish with the Dlux Ultra Rig. All things considered, I'm pretty happy with my finishes. The first one was really tight (10 points among the top 5 I think). My 2nd Place finish had me 3 gates behind a VERY good driver.

At the comp this weekend, we got our trophies for last season. BIG thanks to ETRC for being such a great group of friends!
