At the comp this weekend, we got our trophies for last season. BIG thanks to ETRC for being such a great group of friends!
Awesome job on ur finish last season, Harv!
I think the knife trophy idea is so saaweeet!

Keep up the great driving, my friend..

WOW this chassis set up has electrified your crawling program. I'm interested in up grading my current ride and this has defiantly caught my attention. Nice work Harvo this was a dramatic change from your T1e days. Norm

Its refreshing to see you and this car back around!

The knife is a great idea! I love any trophy that is functional.

Where did you get your rear upper shock sliders? I'd like to get my hands on some.

Hey Harvo, if it's not to top secret I wanted to know what foam setup you use.

No problem Winner... Thanks for posting those. They are great pieces that keep the shocks out of trouble.

For the foam... On my best wheels I have the comp cut 5.5 inners and soft outers in back... And the same inner and firmer outer in front.

On the wheels currently on the truck, comp cut inner 5.5 on front and med outers. The rear has original CI firm inners and soft outers.

Of course since the tires have been narrowed so I narrowed the foam to match.

After our last comp I think I'm going to keep my next voodoos wide.

Great to hear from you Norm!

This truck isn't a huge departure from my last T1e chassis. It was a very small learning curve after the switch. It is more refined though.

Refinment seems to be working very well. How do you like working on this rig compared your last T1e?

It takes a little more effort to pull the cases apart than the stock Berg cases, but the improved clearance and reduced weight make it worth the extra effort. So far I have only had to take them apart to lube or change motors.

The gears IIR are the original berg gears I got with the stock axles like in 2009. I just got Erik to lighten them somewhere along the way.

I've never drilled the hole either. They just look to good without it and i have gotten good at adjusting the mesh by ear.

So gosh... it's been a while since I have posted. The truck hasn't changed. That's just a testament to how forward Dlux's design was. No one else has caught up yet.

We completed our ETRC series comp #3 and I finally won one. (I had a 2nd and a 4th place finish before this) The ETRC drivers are getting better

Anyway, the Dlux axles and chassis are still killing it.

We had our first comp of the season yesterday with a huge turnout. We had a few past and present Nationally Ranked drivers from out of state that came to compete with us as well.

The only change I made to the Dlux Truck was to tilt the front axle forward to reduce my caster. Besides that, it's the same as what I ran all the way back just after I built it.

It rained the whole comp and the rocks were pretty slick, but the silver and blue VooDoos hooked up really well. Out of 4 courses the truck got me 3 perfect scores and a single reverse penalty in the other... for the W

You think you can just go in hiding for months and then come out and whoop up on everybody!?

Nice job on the W and its great to see you active again. Youre a great person to have in the comp scene.
