So here's the last part for the Homebrew...for now...until I tear other stuff up.
Its just a simple blast shield to keep the direct roost off the tire from spraying right into the pinion/spur mesh point. With how low it sits and the long wheel base , when the tires are turned it would put the roost shooting straight into the pinion.

Just need some 3s batteries and it's ready to go bash
can't wait........

The Homebrew came to life last night for the first time
I kept telling myself I would wait until I got some 3s batteries for it before I put juice to it, but after much prodding from some guys, I reluctantly powered it up with a small 2s crawler pack.......SHIT FIRE......The chassis seems very well balanced zero torque twist, handles great, hard cornering at full throttle with no issues( on my back lawn) spins donuts nice and flat.
VXL systems kills 2s in no time flat so I can't get a real shake down yet but its got me all hot n bothered I'm waiting until after Christmas to buy batts,(trying to be the good husband/father)......sooooon:tw isted::flipoff :

I know that I am waiting on the Video and all of the rest of the Foffer's are also.
By the way, Thank you for the idea on the Blast shield. I am now going to have to make one for my build.

I wasn't planning on powering it up, but after a few beers and constant heckling, I caved in. Didn't have any way to take video, Besides the 1.5 min run time was REALLY just a big tease. By the way do got that new mill in the "Girth" I'm waiting

The blast shield is a great idea, but its not mine I came up with after studying the under side of the DMG Master Blaster

Don't waste your money on 3racing cvd's, worst $15 bucks ever spent, I completely blew the ball end apart on the axle, not just the pin and that was just on 2cell. (I'll post pictures soon) So back on the work bench it goes while I wait for new axles. Oh, and of course it happens the day before I get some 3cells.

I've heard that those were kind of fragile.
