No...I bought 2 packs about 2-3 months ago and all 4 are gone

It was running good, that was the second pack of the day, had fun while it lasted. Now to get some good bearings

I'm going to say the wheel wideners (wide hexes) are what's causing the bearing failure in turn causing the rest of the damage.

Nice build by the way!

Last night I sat down and really studied this axle set up, and I see the problem. The wide hex's do add stress but that not the main issue. The stub shafts have slop, so I took some rear axle shims and shimmed behind the pin, pulling the stub tight and adding preload to the bearing, this helps a ton, also the stock Axial bearing's are junk, I took some fast Eddie's I had in my crawler and they are more of a press fit into the knuckle, were as the Axial just fall out. Simple fix no more slop, good preload every things nice and tight.
Will test it later this week

You can do it cheaper This is just the easy way. Stock TF axles would last longer than those AX's

So I have the bearing issue solved, took it out a few times and ran the sh#* out of it. It's Working really good a total blast

Then the next weak link showed up....I knew it would and had the parts on hand to fix it, I just wanted to see how far I could push the stock tranny.

Will put it back together and head back to the beach tomorrow

cheap ebay ones. i bought a couple of sets from a guy in korea. the hub is 1 piece with the outside beadlock. the blue ones i have used with paddle tires are ok, despite a lot of rough treatment. but the black ones with axial tires on stripped. im using junfac wideners and they are a very tight fit.

it could be user error

this is the site i got them off. i have ordered a set of yellow and set of chrome as well.

2.2 MUD Rock BEADLOCK WHEELS AX10 WHEELY KING CR-01 Smoke 4 items in Nowinghobby store on eBay!

they aren't bad wheels, the material is quite tough actually. the axial wheels that came with the ax10 donor soon stripped with 3s power on them

I love the fact you ran the stock tranny gears. I am even more impressed with the fact they lasted as long as they did.

Yeah, I really wanted to drop those gears in the tranny right off the bat, but I managed a little will power and held out. The stock ones lasted 10 1/2 (2200-2600 50-55c) battery packs before the out put broke. Was doing some big dune climbs and jumps that day.

The bearing problem seems solved, Fast Eddy + axle shims behind the wheel pin removes all slop from the stub shaft set up.

The bearing that were failing I ordered through a very well known rc crawler web store. I order Axial bearing, But this store decided they knew better, and sent me repackaged ( who knows what bearing ) I'm totally pissssssed... The store starts with a "C" and ends with a "C" not naming any names. Be warned I knew better and I payed the heavy price$$$$$$$$

Man! You weren't joking about "my rig fell apart" that's gnarly! Ill never forget taking my turbocharged AX10 out and having issues galore. Oh wait the whole thing was held together with zip ties and tape

I broke a stock tranny outdrive with a 55T Novak... they aren't very nice units! I ended up getting the 3Racing ones from The Toyz and havent had any issues till I swapped them for my VP Dig

Don't get discouraged tho, it looks like a gnarly rig when done

How is it going Hacksaw, looking for a updated.

I am sorry to hear you had a bad experinece with C%&C. I never order from those clowns in my opinion, too expensive and all I 've ever heard is C&#P service.
