Default metal fab

Little update. Metal work done by an East Texas buddy, angryone
His tube work is way better than my body chop work!
1/4" tube for the big stuff.
3/16" solid rod for supports. More to come....

Thanks. Clay is making it look good. We are roughly using the 2006 TTC Jeep as a basis for the cage. Gradual slope to the rear for the cage. I really like the look of it. Makes the rear tires stand out more or something.

I have thought about it. They're only 5.2" tall. Boggers are 5.7".

Edit. Just watched imthatguy's Wraith video with the mil-specs on it. Those tires are lacking in the performance dept. No Thanks.

If you want a set of those tires hit up "imthatguy". He bought a set for his wraith and is no longer using them. Might be worth it just for looks if you can get a deal.

I think these would be better with a set 2.2 side walls completing the tire. GO big or go HOME. lol that will look more like your TTC

8.3" Tall
Could be an option though. I need to re-read the tire specs for Class 3.
Edit: First rule for Class 3
Class-3 “Modified” Details
• 146mm / 5.75" max tire size with a 2.2 max rims size including spare

These might be better, since the height is maxed out at 5.75". Don't know how they work on the rocks/mud etc.

Tube work looks good shane!

My vote is go with 2.2 claws. I had the 1.9's and they worked good.

I bet if you took every other row of lugs out they they would work really good.

Can't wait for the rear steer.

yessir, several folks helping me out on this build.
Should be back to me in a few days. I have 5 days to get it ready for Scalapalooza in Disney, OK. It's going to be some long nights until then.

I went with your chassis cause it gets the JK body as low as possible on the frame.
angryone integrated the front bumper with servo bracket-bracket mount since I am running it in a totally different way.

Should be here in two days

Anyone have any body color suggestions? Cage will stay black, I was thinking white? I dunno.
