strapping the non-bent side would just make the bent side bend more (sorry, confusing sentence lol). my leafs warped behind the axle. I'm now running stock with medium on top, with zip-ties behind the axle (on the bent part of the leaf).
Axle twist is much less, but still feels soft enough.
