If you are going to post every bit of it you might want to start a build thread. Theres plenty of info about posting pics on here too.

Wow. I'm really impressed! I found this thread from another, that was linked. Amazingly, this nitro crawler seems to work especially well. I enjoyed the video.

Looks like a great idea only ive pretty much run out of space, especially around the engine. Plus it doesnt really need it with the fan and all.

Thanks for the commentz

For the last couple of months I have been tinkering with this truck, its getting there.
I have sorted the clutch issues so that it idles nicley without creeping forward. I changed the clutch shoes round from trailing shoes to leading shoes. The shoes wrap on now and give a much better bite. The spring needed more tension to stop it dragging so changed it out for another.
While I was running it one time, the backpressure line got disconnected from the exhaust and it seemed to run better so I took it off completley and plugged the exhaust nipple. It idles like a dream and although its gravity fed it seems to work at all angles.
The 6V battery has been moved down slightly by moving the plate 6mm up and strapping the batt to the bottom of the plate rather than the top.
Zero ackerman blocks have been added to the axial knuckles to increase the steering on the inside wheel.
Made a front skid plate instead of a bumper cos I dont have the equipment to make delrin bumpers or tube bumpers.
Epic beadlocks and hammer tyres are now on and make a whole world of difference.
Links have had the bi-carb treatment and are silver instead of ghastly orange.
Me and a friend made a backbox muffler for it out of folded steel, inside it is constructed like a real one and works very well.
Heres a few pics.

Thanks for looking
Matt

No wife here. Probably why I had the time to build it.

No worries Nitroscaler, The engine ran totaly different when I laid it down on the side. I had to turn the carb 180 so the high speed needle was pointing somewhat in the air. Also its a gravity fed setup now, because of the long exhaust system there was too much back pressure and it was rich all the time. Got rid of the backpressure line and let the engine suck as needed. The fuel tank is slightly higher up than the carb to help the fuel along. Put a hot plug in and retuned and its nearly there. Only problem I have is tuning for daytime and then going out in the evening when the air is denser, I have to retune again. They do say that you can run a well tuned engine at any angle.

Cheers
