the other day while cutting up some tires i thought why not just use tire tread on some wheels. you could screw on some teeth to the tread and some onto the wheels. it doesn't seem all too difficult. the hardest part would probably be the bracket to hold the wheels and making sure the tension is right. i like how that tlt uses the tie rods on the tracks. that would make it easy to tune the tension. i might give it a try over christmas vacation.

I got the f-350 with the mattraxx option. they kinda sucked. No bearings or bushings, plastic on plastic, battery life was almost halved due to the amount of rolling resistance. you need almost an inch long 8mm hex to hold onto the drive input, and there has to be ears for the tabs on the track to catch on to keep it (the track) from flipping over. they looked cool, but they couldn't climb for poo. an inch and a half edge would put the fronts in a bind, trying to bury the lead edge of the track. I could never find anything with a long enough axle for me to try and mount them on something else. for a shelf queen it would work dandy snow would be iffy crawler would definently miss. |

| Found Source Where Radio Shack gets the their RC Toys
Mery Christmas 2007 & Happy New Year, Anyway I hope some of you still read his. I was doing nothing on Christmas Day and I started poking around Youtube, and someone posted a white hummer h2, like ours, in the video, it was the exact same thing as our Radio Shack Hummer. And then someone else asked if was a Suncon Hummer. That made me wonder where exactly did Radio Shack gets it's toys from. I did a Google search on "SUNCON HUMMER" I read they have races in the phillipines and Suncon is big out there. As I continued to look around, I found two links that make it for sure that Radio Shack gets it's Pt Cruser, Hummer H2 with and without Mattracks, Interceptor from Suncon Toys Industry Ltd. Here are the links: http://www.dinglidesign.com/product/ArticleShowxhch.asp?ArticleID=120 http://www.suncon.com.hk/home.html Anyway, I thought you all would want to know. |
