I went all the way back through this thread and still have to wave the ignorant flag. Some references to this as a "kit", others as an RTR or roller.

Is this intended as an assembly required box of parts or an ARTR that needs the body painted?

It's a kit with everything in corresponding bags.

Can't wait to see videos of the truck. Any plans for a version with the portal axles?

RPP has it up for pre-order, but manufacturer doesn't allow coupons? Since when?

I love it, my favorite parts besides the body and bumpers are the plastic ones: shock towers and skid plate. I can't wait to see a plastic version of those axles in a near future and the new transmission as well. I really like the plastic Diamond axles from SSD but I'm pretty confident that VP could do an even better job.

An intermediate version with the same axles and drivetrain component but with plastic sliders, bumpers and shock bodies would be very welcome, I might not be able to spend 900 on a kit but 600, why not, that's the budget I put on a new build.

Molds cost some money. And they would have to add a whole new process to thier already established production line.

It's a brand-new kit release from a company that has never sold a kit before.

I'm sure they took a look around at what has become standard practice of all the big-name kit & RTR manufacturers and made a decision.

It would have surprised me more had they allowed coupons...
