More practice. Trying different medium/technique before I waste time on the big one. Is now ArtGalleryGarage...

Still practicing. May start the big sign tomorrow if work is slow. This one is ballpoint pen, #2 pencil, watercolor markers, and acrylic. I like the thickness of the lines better than the other ones, more scaled down. This thing is about 6” tall so the detail got a little fiddle. Just knocked it out so not perfect.

No weekend updates...might go wheeling tomorrow.

Bought a new airbrush, will now have 3. Leaving one set up at .35 medium to small), one at .2 (fine detail) and one at .5 (general purpose). Will probably use the .35 most, it’s my trusty Iwata that is also getting a fresh needle/nozzle.

Got a 3 way manifold and more hoses so I don’t have to keep swapping.

Also- weaning myself off Createx paints, they are too proud of them...dabbling with the cheap “Folk Art” acrylic, it’s high flow but I’m thinning it quite a bit, so far so good...$30 for a big pile of 3oz bottles versus a mortgage payment on the name brands. I mostly use opaque and transparent, at the scale I’m working in the pearls and candies are a waste.

Going to start a new mural tomorrow, got some new pens, sharpies, and a new kneaded eraser too.

Nice work man. I don’t have the patience to airbrush anything small... your detail is amazing!
