You will be perfectly fine. I have run the 7t on a sidewinder with 3s lipo with no problems.

Your batteries may get warm, and if you try and stall the motor out they can get over drawn. Just depends on how much power you try to use.

Will there be a chance to purchase a couple of spare brushes and replacement 7T comms?

I am really liking much the powerful torque presence yet smooth driving at crawling speed fed by an 8-cell and 3S lipo.

Thanks for an awsome product and the top-rate service!

I am still waiting to hear about brushes. If the original factory won't do it I will have to source elsewhere. Replacement armatures are not available at this time, but luckily these guys wear pretty slow in a crawler!

Appreciate much the effort in looking for alternative sources. Although your absolutely right, these brushes or the comm don't wear-out quickly at crawling speed.

Cheers!

I am running a Tekin FXR ESC, Castle Creations bec unit to power 2 servos with a RC4WD R2 transmission with driveline disconnect for front dig. I was wondering if set up will hold up to the 7T puller and do you have any of the motors and the 11.1V batteries in stock?

So has it been determined that none of these motors run well on 6 cell 1500's? I just spent some $ having packs made, would hate to have to tsell them to go back to sub C's just to run a 10t. Will the 10T run on the 2/3A 1500s? Basically, I have acces to one of these motors, but am not sure it will work great for me on this battery setup.

The 10t would be fine on 6cell 2/3a. You will have some limit to the power, but judge whether your driving is too much for the cells by the tempurature. If you batteries stay cool, you are just fine.

Thanks for the reply! I just don't have the wheelspeed I am looking for with the novak 55turn. Here in AZ I feel like I get into a lot of spots where I could use some power to be popping over stuff. I think this will be just what I am looking for.

The 10t will be next year. In the mean time 7t is all I have.

Hey John, do you think a Tekin FX-R Pro w/CCBEC would handle the 7t on 3s lipo?

I've got an extra MM, but I love the Tekin's drag brake...
