Cool, I think a Castle 5700Kv will be cool in this with a Savox SC-1258TG. This way I can look at how to marry one to a Wraith later.

If running 2wd on 2s, probably cool. On 3S or for 4wd? way too much ,probably fry the motor. Like I said I'm running a 3800kv 550 can on the Slash 4wd (with center diff) on 3S; the EVO has the same footprint as the Slash, its 10th scale, etc. only thing is it weights probably a tad more.

Maybe get the SC setup then. I usually fry a few first, lol. Probably run this on some 8000MHr 2S2P I have around.

any recommendations for the foff'n Bastard? I'm running the old cm36 5700kv... I'd like a little more top end and have low end.

I am not sure yet on motor and ESC. If you go with the SV2 be ready to add a BEC if you are going to use a fast servo line the Savox. Has problems on my T4 with that, just too low a current and voltage for a high speed/high torque servo. Supposedly the MMP doesn't need it, but I ran one with mine anyway.

I am looking at the Castle SCT Race Pro combo or the SIde Winder SCT combo as I doubt I will run this on 3S.

I try to take a simple approach to this, get you low end up by dropping KV rating and get you top end up by increasing your cell count. You can also get some added punch out of higher C rated batteries.

I had the sidewinder sct 3800 on 2s in my mini trophy and thats just not enough for what I want.

I need a 550 can on 3s like chris's slash. Thats the kind of power/speed I want.

Lol, let the fights begin.

Bet there is another listed in the next 3 days.

I think people bought them thinking they could race though they really don't fit the classes very well. You would not want to put one against a B44 on a track. I think they are going to be a great off road basher. If I find the time to get this running, I will take it to the outdoor 8th scale track to see how it does.

It has the same footprint as the SC trucks; it'd compete against them. Its much bigger than a B44 and similar 4wd buggies!

I imagine about the same as any 10th scale 4WD truck and/or the "backslash" 8th scale Slash 4WD buggy conversions. Which is pretty well...

I want to go to the track! Got to get the Revo back together. Broke the front bulkhead and steering brace but I should have it back together soon.

I think the 4600Kv will be fine in this buggy. It has about the size of the SC10 4WD but over a pound lighter and more so than the Slash. I raced my 2WD SC10 for 2 years on that same combo on 2S (3S occasionally) with no problems. I think I am going to go with the MMP SCT 3800Kv as I am going to run it primary on loose dry clay and gravel conditions. If you look at the area all the way around the pond, there is lots of room for this and the area north by the damn and the dry creek bed will be good too. Of course it is only Dry in the summer.
