| Yep it's the protrac. Still use the same driveshafts though, haven't had trouble there. I use the 4x4 shafts on my 2wd because they are bolt on and slightly beefier than the 2wd shafts. I can blow the 2wd shafts up all day. The protrac is a very nice option and much stronger than stock arms. The shock braces are superior too.

I don't remember the exact but i know it's 5 or 10mm per side. I'm actually more sure it's 10 each side. They sell special offset wheels to get you back at stock width if you want. They claim the handling is better with longer arms an the inset wheels for stock width. I think it's no difference. Handling is def gained using standard wheels since width is increased. Less roll overs. I was big into SC racing when slash came out and until last year. I have a very modified slash now lol. I think the only thing stock is tranny internals, body mounts, and I like the black and red body so I have it too. |

| Re: NIRC. Chit Chat on the other side of the bridge. It was crossing a little drainage ditch... So my daughter and her friend went with me. They just walked the trails, started at our comp spot and I picked them up in Grove 4... where I met you guys the other day. We should do a gtg and just trail drive like we did the first time, but in a different direction... the park is big. Last edited by johnnyh66; 07-16-2012 at 10:15 AM. |

yeah, the Platinum has the Aluminum CHubs, hub carriers, sway bars and center diff... You can find them used all over ebay, I'm not sure it's worth the extra cash for a new one though.

depending on reserve, that's not bad... I looked at a couple that had the CC MMP SC Combo. The one I bought had all the Platinum upgrades (minus center diff) plus HD motor plate, metal spur and and the MIP driveshafts. I believe Zero said to make sure you get the HD motor plate and good drive shafts. |
