We're having a gtg at lake miliken in Wilmington il tomorrow if anyone is interested.

It's too bad I couldn't make it to the g3 today... I had prior obligations (moms surprise 50th birthday party) wish I could of made it. Looked like a hell of a course.

Let's plan a trip! I'm in!

BTW, got my slash 4x4. What a cool little truck! Brought it with me for some bashing in CO.

I think I have a trade for a Stampede 4x4!

What's funny is I had finally decided on a Slash 4x4 and was gonna MT it when this trade came along... I want to run the orange Melons body on it but the Stampede wb is too short... it is the Slash bug body.

I might go latter, around 3 or 5.
My sleep is all jacked up.
I slept about 4 hrs each night this week prepping for the SCRC gtg.
Then got about 3hrs sleep Friday night.
Hiked my ass off at the gtg. (more on this).
Fell asleep around 8pm last night.
Then Susan got an emergency work call and had to go in at 2am which woke me up.
Then I drank a couple of beers, smoked, watched Jennifer's Body and some crazy ass British comedy type show then played a tower defense game.
Went back to bed around 7am and at 10 woke up to the sound of a barfing dog...
Now I think I'm going to make a BLT, charge the lipo's and watch some tv and then go back to bed...
and then go to Foster.

So yesterday's hike was rough. I can not stress enough how difficult and long a hike it is with a lot of gear.
I was really wishing I'd only taken Melons and minimal tools in my bag.
The fully loaded hand truck was a bad idea... I had a really hard time getting it there and back again. The guys helped me.

That's why I was saying an all day event would be cool... you wouldn't want to have to walk back to the car.
Gottwins made it with his off road wagon but I bet he really struggled too...

It was rough, but definitely doable. It was better than walking back to my car! I strapped everything down and just took my time. It maybe cost me an extra 5 min but was worth it. If there is an all day event, I'll use it again.

I think I'm gonna start with the IROK's and gear way down... I think Jang said the Stamped A arms/Axles are wider than the Slash's? If so, I'll add them too.

It's gonna be my Bashing Buxom Melons!
and I'm selling the Rock Rider to fund it... which already has a VXL in it.

They are the same a-arms; 3655X. Driveshafts are different.. 6851X on front/rear of stampede, 6851 on front of slash and 6852 on rear of slash. Looks like that the 6852 may have a slightly shorter axle than the 6851.

But if anything you are talking very minimal differences in width that I'm not sure its worth spending the money on.

Proline makes a suspension kit/arms called ProTrac for the slash/stampede. I believe those arms are wider. ?
