Definitely need to get better so I can finish a course and also need to upgrade on SCALE points that would help with my score. Can't wait until next year.
Just keep at it. You got a great attitude!

The 2nd Cliffs TTC was scheduled for Sept 14th and 15th...
I'm down with a 1:1 day/weekend and some rc fun.

Maybe a little later than the 14th?

I got the china 2dr JK.. It looks good. Threw some 1.7 Iroks under it for pics.

I think it has great potential. I look forward to trying to make mine unique.

yep thats what im talking about!

i could try it but i know with a drill press it would be easy.

i just opened up mintberry crunch's front diff. the bearing is trashed, and while the gears look ok, they ground just enough to spit metallic powder inside the case.

i think i can just slap a bushing in it (gonna bushing both sides) and use the same gears. rear feels fine still.

gonna take it this weekend, throttle it, and see how the bushings look. i got a few of the bronze oilite bushings from tlt and highlift kits.

Mega Fattie's C3 build of: Barely Legal

I made a build thread for my C3 rig. The "Heap" thread needed to die.

Check it out guys, comments, and critisism welcome.

Jeeze. That sucker grenaded pretty hard, I remember the instantanious sound of functioning correctly to knarly crunchy/grindy noises.

Even I'm not going to run bearings at the pinion after seeing that. Bushing's don't come apart like that. That is catostrophic failure.

There aren't a lot of 1.55 beadlock wheels I like. I'm considering going non-beadlock but, I'm not sure if they'll hold up to the abuse reliably.

yeah. it definitely failed. along with swapping to bushings im gonna back of the slipper a little bit from full lock. also... i did go full retard with the trigger...

all the bearings up front in the knuckles were seized up as well...

the thrust bearing jeremy posted in the wraith diff thread looks interesting.

Yeah, I got bushings that Saydee recommend a while back... I should have run them at the TTC... live and learn.

DL, I think you can go with glued wheels/tires in C1... I am.
They hold on my VXL Slash with 2.2 XOR's.

So, how about we pack lunch and drive an hour south to the Indian Caves this Sun.
Everyone that went to that NWITTC comp said it's the best place in IL.
