The TTC itself is free.
Camping is like $8 a night
and
it's $5 to get into the park if you are just a bystander/passenger in a real truck... which you are... unless you bring a real 1:1 truck.

Class is determined by tire size for the most part, what tires do you have?

Post a pic of our rig.

I believe the stock Rubicon & Honcho fall into Class 2 with a max tire height of 4.75"

Class 1 is a max of 4.19"
Class 2 is a max of 4.75"
Class 3 is a max of 5.75"

The TTC is for scale trucks only (must have a scale chassis), no MOA's or Sporty chassis (vertical twin plates).

fyi, you can post pics through photobucket.com.

wait... we arent running 3 classes are we?

last year wasnt a 'real' ttc in the way it was ran and scored. we pretty much just had a scale comp.

No, we are running 2 classes (C2 and C3), I was just giving him the breakdown.

This will be a real TTC, or as close as we can get.
If anyone has any input on how things should be run, I'd appreciate it.

I know everyone had fun last year at all the events.

we should read up on the ttc format. i looked it up awhile back but my short term memory... uhh... what?

i didnt mind last year either, but i think doing it more ttc style will be more efficient and we wont spend so much time on each rig and scoring.

Yes, Wraiths fall into the Class 3 catagory as they are "Tube" chassis.

All the ruls are posted here: 2013 SORRCA Scale rules

I don't follow ya... wanna stop by when you're up here today to chat about it?
As of now, we'll go from event to event... isn't that how they do it?

ugh, I just had a guy ask if his Wraith can run PL Chisels... which are on the ban list. But it's the only tire he has.

I don't want to turn people away.

I think we allowed restricted tires last year...
I mean, we're all running Cut n Shuts in C2.

yeah but not points like we usually score. its more time and distance iirc. i'd have to find the rules and read up on them to know more.

all i know is ttc rules and scoring are different from our normal comps.

Since Sunday is fathers day, my dad is gonna stop out and see how Rc crawling is done. He's never seen it in action.

Do we know what events are going on for each day yet?
