if we aint got any scale points but the rubicon, my dingo is a far more capable rig overall.
Boo!! Boo!!!

Couldn't really figure out an uncomplex way of doing scale points for the timed events and sled pull.

And, we allow Cut N Shut tires in both Class 2 and Class 3.
My swampers are 1.9s but they are .04" too big according to SORRCA. Its cool if I cant use them in class 2 but I need a good tire suggestion so I can get some tires ordered to be here in time.

meh. im not fully decided... im pretty sure my dingo would womp timmys ass in just about everything considering its easily half the weight and the cg is waaaaay lower. i dont think i can fit cut and shuts on it though without hacking up my body, so if i do run the dingo it will be 100% compliant with the current sorrca rules.

speaking of tires, it looks like we may not need cut and shut tsls anymore with the new 1.9 tsl proline announced at rcx!

I'm such a noob. I had no idea what you were talking about until now. My tires aren't modified at all, they are the RC4WD tires. At least thats cleared up. Now I can get to beefing up the SCX10 to take a beating. One more question and I will leave you guys alone. Will a 2200mah battery be enough to make it through an event? I started using them to cut down on weight because my rigs are tanks. I have others I can use if not but I would like to get half a dozen more for the trip if they will last. I am running a MMP with a 13.5 brushless motor. I just wasn't sure how long you guys make your courses.

2200 3s is pretty much all i use. ive never timed the runtime but you should totally be able to do a couple shorter events reliably off one pack no problem. the longer and more wheelspeed the event is, like the pull or the rubicon, it'd be better to use a fresh pack.

I forgot about the rubicon. I will definitely use a bigger battery for that. I have 7 batteries to bring 3 2200s, 2 5000s and 2 4000s plus bought a new hitec x4 just for this event so I should be good. I am looking forward to doing a 2 day event. I am still using 2s lipos. I guess I might need to step it up to 3s for the truck pull.

With this type of event format, I run 1300mah 3s's.
I generally swap in a new one for each event.

Hey guys, I'll take care of getting the firewood this time. There's a firewood place right down the road from my work, should be a lot cheaper than buying gas station bundles.

I guess well have to see what it's like on Thursday... I've got the "OK" from the wife to camp Friday, so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna no matter if it's raining. Plus, I just bought a new cot to use!

Got it at Gander Mountain on sale for $149, normal price is $179.

Seems really nice, I layed on one in the store. The headrest has memory foam and is adjustable so you can sit up in it.

My theory is buy once, and buy good!

I could have gotten a $45 cot which is uncomfortable and then get a self inflating mattress for it, but it would have come out to about the same price so I decided to go this route.

An air mattress is the reason I bought the cot... Worst sleep I ever got was on an air mattress, mine was a year old (if even) and was leaking. No one likes waking up on the ground!

Anyway, I am camping Friday.
