Default NIRC Revenge Of The Cliffs TTC (June 2013)
NIRC is hosting it's beginning of summer TTC June 15th and 16th
at Cliffs Off Road park in Marseilles, IL.
It is a 2 day event with camping at Papa Murph's Tavern.

Please bring $5 per day to get into the ORV park.
Anyone with a 4x4 1:1 that wants to help shuttle will need to pay a little more, I'll find out exactly.
The events are:
Hill Climb
Sled Pull
Rubicon
Tank Trap
Obstacle Course (timed event)
(and a bonus Tug of War)

Check in is at 9am, the first event will be at 10am...
We will need to drive between a couple of events so if you're late,
you may be stuck waiting in the parking lot till the first event is over.

After a full Saturday of TTC action we will head to Papa Murph's Tavern for dinner, drinks, pool and fun!
And then, Sunday morning, we'll go back to Cliffs for the 2nd day of the TTC!

Saturday night we will have a grill going and there are several firer pits as well as a port o potty on premises.
Please bring your own food and drinks in a cooler.
The tavern sells firewood, ice, some food and of course, carry out service.
There is no electricity! Most lipo chargers can charge from a car battery.

I will be going to both the park and campground on Friday to scout new courses and prep old ones. You are welcome to join me for an extra day of camping and exploring.

Camping at Papa Murph's Tavern ($8 per night)
Papa Murph's Tavern and Campground by Starved Rock State Park

The Cliffs Insane Terrain Off Road Park ($10 for 1:1 drivers and $5 for passengers)

be a good idea to call the cliffs and let them know. hopefully they dont have anything big going on that weekend.

The Jeep Jamboree is June 12, 13 and 14th.

Damn.. Thats right around the corner. I've been distracted lately with other hobbies & machine work. I need to get a move on if I'm gonna make this event!

Thats odd why would the jeep thing start on a wensday and end friday?
The 16th is fathers day...

Im hopping to be at this one .i just hope the old lady lets me stay over night...

im planning on driving down friday but dunno if i'll get there early enough to scout out the cliffs. was planning on using the day friday to pack up and stuff.

gonna get a hotel and just bring the scale rigs.

might try to get out there for strictly 1:1 wheeling sometime this summer, but to do both on the same weekend is just too much, especially with an organized ttc event going on.
