I've always had to go into my phone itself and click on the DCIM file to retrieve video files.

Well, I made a little progress, but still not enough to be able to post a link to the video. I emailed the video from my iphone to desktop successfully so I can see it on my computer through windows viewer. I'm still having problems getting it to post here. I know it's in a zip file, I just can't find it to upload it...I hate computers, lol

Are you trying to upload to YouTube first???
If not, that may be your problem. To post here, I think it needs to be uploaded to an online site. I went through this problem when trying to post pictures.

Yes, when it's uploaded and plays onYouTube then you can copy the link in the top address search bar. Then paste it as a link. When you get that worked out look for the the embed link, this will put a screen on the post and will play from there.

Oops, Barbie had a little accident today, lol., or, I should say, I caused it. Instead of taking her out of the Jeep while brazing in the new piece for the spare tire, I placed a piece of scrap aluminum between where I was brazing and where she was sitting. Well, let's just say she ended up with a haircut, and I need to make another harness, lol. I'll get some pics up later.

Here ya go...

The next mod to this build is going to have to be a plate across the rear lower edge of the body. It's taking some big hits and scrapes. Already tore off the stock hitch, wanted to make a metal one using a clasp hook.

From here you can see the others, they're all short vids, hard to drive and shoot at the same time, everytime I got hung up, I hit pause, and instead of it just continuing, it started a new script. Hey, I'm learning, as it is it took me 2 weeks just to get a video to show up here, Lol.

Screw the plate across the back of the body, next is extending the rear frame rails, and make a rear bumper/skid. The more I thought about it, putting a flat plate across the plastic is just going to end up being a Band-Aid. If I keep rubbing the bottom of the plastic and the metal hangs past the body, it may catch on a jagged rock and tear everything off. So I have some 1/16" x 1/2" flat stock that I can use to extend the rear of the chassis and make a rear bumper or skid. This way the frame will take the shock of a hit instead of the body.

That's a great idea. In fact, I'm gunna do the same damn thing.
I'm sure we come up with something completely different though.

I'd like to make it a bit like ZoSo's, from the RCP Crawler site, but I'll see what I come up with.

Got the rear of the Jeep torn down, and cut a couple pieces of 1/16 x 1/2 flat bar to 4.5 inches. These will be used to extend the frame out past the rear of the body. Going to take them to the shop tomorrow to grind a couple notches to clear the taillight wires. Hopefully by the end of the day Sunday, they'll be able to be drilled and test fitted, so I can work on the shape of the rear bumper.

Got the rear bumper done today, Made extensions off the chassis, and made a wraparound bumper to bolt to the frame extensions. The bumper hangs down 1/8" lower than the bottom of the plastic body.

OK, so now the garden is growing, time to get back to RCing and working on the outdoor railroad. I still have the Jeep trailer, but no pintle on the back of the Jeep since the new bumper was put on. Have to head over to the hardware store and see what I can come up with to use as a pintle. I'm still unsure as to whether I want to leave the trailer with the stock unsprung axle, or make an active suspension with either leafs or shocks and links. I am sure I'm going to lose the hard plastic stock tires, and use rubber, but the extra Ripsaws I have are too tall to fit under the fenders. I'll look for either shorter 2.2's or tall 1.9's to fill the void.
