Mine showed up today. I'm going for black so I'll try the RIT and report back in a few hours.

In past experiences with RIT and black, it has taken a couple doses to get it solid on plastics (never tried to dye Delrin).

To dye the delrin chassis you want the have the water with the dye in it boiling.

Once it is up to a boil put the chassis in and it should take about 4-8 min. Gently stir everything the make sure you dye the chassis evenly.

Please wear eye protection and make sure you have a big enough container to do this. The water and dye when heated to a boil will bubble up alot and over flow if you not careful.

Children DO NOT attempt this leave this for mom or dad to do.

Stainless steel pots can be cleaned up after dying, a little bleach and a good brillo pad does the trick....DON'T use aluminum!!! It will stain!

Well it showed up Thursday around 1600. Much lighter and roughly another 1/2" of flex which is what I was looking for.

Didn't mean to sound harsh.......Delrin dyes very well if you follow DP's instructions

Mine came out nice. I dyed it black. I did end up doing 2 runs to get the color nice and solid... First run it was still brownish when held up to a light. I did not follow the DP instructions, but pretty close.

:Better" wheels and tires? There isn't anything better out there yet. But you can make the stock one work better with a bit of work, remeber that this chassis works best with heavy tires
