man I totally chocked at disney.
nerves got to me big time. it was my first big comp. if I had someone I knew close by I did better.
I did put up a negative score on course 2 in 1.9 though.
had mike and pat there watching and it helped me stay calm.
had no idea I would get nervouse until I got on the start gate on course one.

course one, the furthest one from the bridge, I was watching and had my lines picked out. then I damn near point out getting to the FIRST GATE

cant wait for states and nats.

anyone in your club thinking of farmington?
there is atleast 4 from our club going. me included

Jeremy, what type of rock did you run the rovers on? I still donīt know wheter to get the rovers or the chisels. I had some white compound 2.2 Rovers around here and didnīt like them too much, but the little ones have the red compound, which makes me wanna give them a try on the mini.
Thanks.

So far I've run them on the sharp limestone on my backyard course and sandstone at a local testing spot and they seem to do well. If I get my parts in before this weekend, I'll be able to test them out on the granite boulders down on Glaveston Island right next to the ocean.

I haven't been down there yet (been busy with the family)...but I'm gonna go down there looking for a good spot (with good parking and hopefully a gas station w/bathrooms nearby)...then we are hoping to have a comp there in February.

may not be the best rocks, but if you cant find enough parking.
well actually if you guy's show up early. there is plenty of parking all down the road there.

but while you are there. take the road that runs along the coast all the way west till it dead ends.

there is a parkiong area, get out and look around. mostly inland along the shore area. you'll see what I'm talking about. not as nice a spot view or rock, but plenty of parking.

Sorry, sneed, I missed the question.

This your way? This was on carpet as well.
I set the truck up against a wall, back tires touching a wall and placed the start of the tape measure on the back inside wheel (closest to the center of the circle), ran the truck until the front tires hit the wall and measured the distance at the inside front tire (again, closest to the center of the circle).

I hope that answers your question..

I can't wait for our comp out there. So, did you pop a pin? I'm thinking about going back to the dog bones. :?

Nope....sheared the ball off of the inner axle shaft. The pin is perfectly fine. I am thinking that the newly redesigned CVDs that you posted about should help with that problem.
