The Nova Single Stage 1.9 foams. I cut them in half in the fronts and cut about a third off of the rears...

The 1.9 Rovers seem to be working quite well. Our comp this past weekend was quite muddy so most tires were lacking traction, but these still seemed better than others.

Well, after the mongoose system had a meltdown (literally) at our state finals, I decided to give this truck a workover. Here are the results:

Changes:
Lunsford links front lowers and rear uppers
Complete BTA (was only the tie rod before) w/Futaba S9551 low profile servo
Xcelorin 18.5 System (this thing hauls even on 2S)
RCBros servo and link mounts
Gunnar Body Mounts

Overall, the suspension is EXTREMELY smooth. I have been having problems with the Losi ESC (it keeps losing the calibration), but hope to have that figured out soon. I am VERY glad to have the side body mounts gone.....I got hung on those quite often. I have also gone back to ground down dogbones....I just couldnt keep the Losi MRC CVDs in one piece. I also added a bit more weight to the wheels...I noticed a lack of traction in certain situations. I also must say, that I ordered a new type of stick on weights (it's all Amain had)....made by Losi.....these are VERY nice! Much more flexible than regular weights.

I have no idea. It wont calibrate completely.....after I complete the calibration (green light, pull full throttle, red light, push full reverse) the yello and bllue lights come on and it's at FULL throttle (without touching the Tx). I cant dial down the controls enough on the Tx (they are maxxed out) enough to get it set to neutral. I think if I could do that, then it would complete calibration. After I unplug the battery, then it loses everything. I called Losi, the guy got frustrated and told me to mail them the entire truck and radio (not gonna happen)....

Well, I finally got this thing to calibrate......I guess the Xcelorin ESCs just require that you calibrate them 50 times before they work.....

If it ever stops raining here, I'll get a chance to test it out!

Have you had a chance to try the losi system yet? The drag brake on my mongoose quit working (well...works sometimes).

Yeah, I've been running this losi system and I like it....now that I have figured out not to program it according to the instructions provided by Losi.

The drag brake works quite well and my wheelspeed on 2S is about the same as the mongoose was on 3S.

Maybe post how you should program them just so we know.
And cause you were so nice to figure it out for everyone.

I said how in another thread on this board.....but basically, start the program process as normal, however, when the green light starts to flash, push the trigger to full reverse....when it starts to blink red, pull the trigger to full throttle.
