Default Increase Leverage

I think I'm going to make a small piece of delrin to attach to the arm and move my servo connection a little further away from center of the axle to help increase the stearing power mechanicaly. A small piece of delrin should hold up just fine in this instance. I was going to trim off the extra piece of the arm but trimming it doesn't get me any more of a stearing adfantage as the arm hits the C at that new location. Hummm.

I have the 3 racing cvds in there at the moment. They can go farther than the knuckles allow.

Oh, I thought they looked like the dogbone and stub. 3racing are different than the losi CVD.

The 3racing cvds have a thin metal sleve that retains the pin so it cant slide out. It works really well. The shaft is kinda thin and im afraid that it might not hold up very well. We will have to see though once i get it on the rocks.

Right now the wheels weight 7.4 oz each - The internal Proline weight
Rear wheel 3.2oz each, no weight just rubber and and foam. That's not where it's going to stay, I just need to play with the weight a bit.

I like te Pro-Line wheels, they are easy to mount and the weights are ok. I added another oz. to each front wheel to ge me up to 8.4 and the rear is at 4ish. Just worrying about breaking the CVD. I have a combo of the LCC stubs and the MRC shafts. Oh I got the CCBEC programed. Thanks

I was thinking about running only 1 ouce of weight in the front as a starting point then work from there then I'll put the proline weights in all the wheels then add and ounce to the front as a start point.

adam, what width wheel widener are you using? wouldn't happen to be these from ckrc: http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/gmade-22...mm-p-2708.html

i'm working on a turning radius issue with my maxstone 16 and your idea of adding a small plate to the knuckles to give true zero ackerman is a good one but in stock form i don't have enough room to do that with the stock tires. i figure if i push them out i'll have the space i need.

Yes those are the widners i used. Make sure you watch that your track width doesnt go over 8in wide. My motowoks wheels made it 8 1/4 in wide but the proline titus wheels makes it 7 7/8th wide. So if you add the widners and its too wide you can change your wheel or trim the widner. For my motoworks wheels ill probly send them to crawlerinovations and have him narrow them for me so they will be legal.

I found somone to machine it for me, only problem is the crap CAD software that I'm using doesn't convert so that he can read it. So I'm learning some new software now that can convert so I can get the Skid made. Working in 3D is a whole new Ball game for me.
