Just paged thru the whole thread. Nothing about the power plant. What's going to be turning those big mud killing tires?

Thanks, i plan on reworking the grill area before too long as well. Some simple door sliders and beefing up the subframe.

Wow...that is one cool looking rig.

Let me finish it and drive it for half a pack first.

I have an old dusty 4000kv Pro4 sitting on the bench. Traxxas ET-3S ESC, Holmes Servo, 3s lipo. The motor will probably get swapped out for a Holmes before too long.

I made this for the 3mm scale hardware
I have a driver for the 2mm hardware

Scale bolts look great, I was hoping you would go down that road.

My first dive into scale hardware on a rig, besides wheels. There is at least 100 screws on the exterior. I just started with the easy ones. I'll be tearing the truck down at some point but I couldn't resist adding some now.

Simple siders for some cab protection.

Rear bumper and bed corner protection. Surprised I got the main piece bent to match the bed profile on the first try.

Integrated the fuel cell and utility box with a part of the tank mount. Fuel cell will get painted black.
Two 20mm button head screws pass through and mount to bed.
I think the bed area is done.

Well thank you Mr Nova's Ark.

Beefing up the subframe will be the next fabrication project. It's weak sauce and probably wont last more than a a few packs of hard wheeling.

Waiting on a new rear widened ax10 axle setup before I start the subframe work. A narrower axle will let me run deep dish wheels out back.

Me either. Waiting on wheels to get designed by an RCC vendor, rear axle and a little more fabrication.

The original builder drilled alot of 1/8 holes and used 4-40 hardware with nuts. Makes for a hassle taking it apart, especially the body panels. Would have better and easier if the holes were tapped with 3mm. I am trying to drill and tap where I can to alleviate some of this.

Great detail work. Nicely done, as all your rigs seem to be very well thought out.

Thanks guys.

Waiting on some custom wheels from a vendor that should be getting started very soon. I am also working on 2-3 other projects.

I am going to run a wraith axle up front with some crazy offset wheels to get the track width where I want it.

I have a AR60 narrowed to SCX width and an SCX axle just wider than stock that I am playing with out back. I want to run deep dish wheels out back, so I am still mocking up rear axles for that setup.

I am waiting on my axle choice, which will decide my link setup, before I start beefing up the subframe.

So, not much really. Haha

Sneak peak at a 1.5" wide 3D printed front wheel by JC Auto Designs.
First draft print with changes being made. Rears will be a little different.
