Just a suggestion for painting the wheels, they make "Plastidip" in custom colors now and that shit sticks to everything. Plus, when its gets really scratched you can just peel it off and re apply it over and over again

I agree, 2.6 would look killerer... errr

Just hit them real quick with with a scuff pad, some wax & grease remover of some sort and shoot em'. Thin coats and very few of them.
I tried this "Microprep" before Microscale Decals: MicroBond System Pack with MicroPrep. - No International Shipping on this item on this jeep. Didn't last long Szczerba's Cherokee (Minus some doors)

We have collaborated on colored acetal before, they didn't have the right green.

To me, the cost was not all that bad for getting the correct color I wanted on the Jeepspeed.

Whadda ya mean? The machine does all the work, machines are cheap labor, so I am told. I meant for the actual colored acetal. That material cost was more than black but worth it.

Forgot about this picture. Plenty of room for a Traxxas ET-3s and 2200mah lipo. Wiring will get cleaned up after I waterproof the ESC and BEC.

Default Szczerba's 2.2 TTC Truck

Got the long sensor cable in today. $7 cable and $22 second day air shipping, yup.

I forgot how much this 4000kv spits and snorts on 3s.

Ready to test with Montero and Jeepspeed tomorrow.

Edit. Vanquish VVDs installed as well

Under the hood looks great. Are you using velcro to secure the battery or other?

Truck works great. Foam setup is perfect for these tires and 11lbs truck. I will need a new motor or these new lipos didn't like that 4000kv.

Random footage.

sick!
thoughts on some softer foams? didn't see any deformation in the rock sections, made them spin a bit more.
also could be the x4 compound, and I know on some of the military tires they also do thicker sidewalls. could be a combination of all 3.

nit picking aside, that's one sweet rig, and working very well. nice shane nice.

Does, finally got those first scratches out of the way. And for good measure, I busted up the styrene cab topper.

I almost didn't show it in public for lack of a matching spare wheel. I got asked about it alot.

At 11lbs, I stayed out of the way too. It jumps pretty good. Ordering new suspension links for it tonight.

I have ran the HH outrunners on several heavy trucks with great success. I may or may not pick up one for this truck.

I didn't want to use the single stage Duece's Wild foams. Eddie ordered the tires directly for me, so we could get the correct DD foam setup. I guessed it would be 10lbs RTR and he included foams based off of that. These sidewalls are a touch thicker but the compound is still pliable. The tire bead is "deeper", as setting into the wheel, than normal tires. I think, for this truck, I am going to stick with the Double Deuce foam setup. If they can work in the mud and wet/slick rocks like yesterday, I am not changing them. A quick bump of the throttle clears the lugs and throws mud about 6'
