Is this with the old, metal cased transmission?
Or the new v2, plastic case, transmission?

Old tranny motor combo burnt up real quickly.

Its the new one. It’s a brand new kit from Tower.. D90 with blue body.

I email RC4WD already.. I also read up on this thread and installed a servo motor.. I had a JR Landing gear servo that never liked to talk to my futaba.. so I opened it up and pulled that motor. It’s working fine does run how but hasn’t burned.

So it appears the only brushless option would be a brushless motor from a brushless servo! An expensive proposition!

I’ve installed the Crawlster kit. In my opinion the turning radius it’s quite better. A bigger toe out gives you better mobility in small spaces. And the suspension kit provides you more flex, just a little. But enough for a better performance.
