Default Shift servo setup.

I am building a trailfinder 2 which has the 2 speed Transmission. Anybody have a tutorial on how to setup the shift servo. I've never done anything like this. Using a airtronics mt4s for reference.

I'm not familiar with that particular radio, but I have the Futaba 4PLS. If you're using a toggle (on/off) switch or button on the radio, its pretty simple. What I would do is power your servo up so it centers itself. I'd use this for 1st gear. Position your shift linkage to where it should be for gear one, and put the horn on your servo. Then, set the end point on your radio to its lowest setting. Power the servo up again and raise your end point until it moves your shift linkage into 2nd gear. Typically, I'd adjust the end point high enough until the servo starts to buzz or movement stops on your linkage. Then back the end point off a few points so you don't stress the servo. You may need to slowly turn the wheels to get it to engage completely until it breaks in.

This is the exact process I used to setup the Dig unit in my Wraith, it only moves about a half an inch between the 3 options.

Here is a video I found with a quick YouTube search.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U745x3YB5RA

I'm struggling with this a bit. Do you start out with both high and low epa at 0 then only move one higher?

I usually start with each EPA at 50 or less and then adjust from there. You won't need anywhere near full throw.
