OK Tony, just making sure it wasn't a surprise or anything

Since I got rid my Hilux before I could do any tube work to it, Tony's rig is getting what I had wanted to do to mine. Lucky for him, we were thinking along the same lines. Tony, stop me when it gets too expensive , I may get carried away and exo it or truggy it ... jk, I think.

Front bumper mount. The center secion is gonna be boxed with a winch guard/small stinger. Mounts up just like the stock one, only much cooler with a hell of a lot more clearance. The plates are 16 guage steel. Keep in mind these are just mounts, the actual bumper hasn't even started yet.

Rear Bumper. The design is a surprise for now (means I haven't completely figured it out but it's gonna be strong and really cool) but it mounts similar to the front, using existing screws

Ok guys, it has been to quiet around here so I thought I had better give a little update on the YOTA. As most of you if not all of you know, I was able to convince Jim to make me some bumpers and sliders for my Toyota. I have since gotten it back from him and put a fresh coat of paint on them with the help of Dave. I also managed to talk Sam out of one of his R2 trannies. Since I didn't like the low slung 3 speed it went to Brandon and I have installed the R2 into the Toyota. On top of that I turned down a set of TLT shocks for that sweet look. The stock red Hi-Lift shocks just weren't doing it for me.

Here are some pictures of the progress.

Default Rock Racer!

Well here's one of my projects. I purchased the roller here off of RCC.
Pic of what I got:

The Chassis was made my dirk379 on RCC that is who I purchased it from also. I got a set of 2.2 crushers for some scale look went with a sidewinder and a 4600kv for some speed. Just got started tonight. Put the electronics in to see how it handle and mounted the tires. I also put a slipper in just to try and stop some carnage. Need to do some fine tuning on the gearing but its fun and fast. Plans yet are to repaint the chassis and new panels. now some progress pics:

P.S. I also got another project I will be starting soon. Mark knows what I am talking about

Hey Mark let me know what you are doing with the Hilux body. I have been gathering parts to do another Toyota 4 linked. I'm going to need a body.

Some updated pics of my Racer. Got the body panels done. Made them longer and taller on the sides to add a little bit more of a scale look. I also mounted up a set of 90mm RC4WD dual shocks. They where meant for my new Trail rig but they fir perfect on it so.....

Default Sneak peek

Got some parts in today for my new trail rig. Not bergs or a losi stuff Tony. A set of T rex 60's and 90mm dual spring shocks showed up but as you can see above I used them on my racer. planning another set of shocks for it. As parts come in I will post them up and start building. My plans for it are a full interior, lights, rock lights, and as scale as possible.

The axles are sweet. I pulled a diff cover off just to check it out(no pics though).
