My rear lockouts from Shapeways didn't last long! Took a single cartwheel tumble on about a 45* slope and this is what happened............

Looks like I need to hit up my go to guy for some stronger ones.......

So Mr. Robbob at Krazed Builds convinced me that I needed some more weight and down lower. So I went from this..........................

To this................................

I broke one of the "horseshoes" while trying to open up the mounting holes to fit the Bully2 knucks so I made some new ones with the trusty Dremel. I also wanted the weights as close to the tire as possible so I used some shorter spacers than what comes in the kit and also put a bevel on the Delrin outer retainer for the slugs to hopefully prevent tire scrubbage.

I painted up a new body too and in the process learned to never use window tint spray paint. It bled through in a few places but that's not a big concern.

I'm having to re purpose my CDW stickers, took this one off the old body.

Yes, I am aware that my painting skills are somewhat larfey.
Thank you Mr. Robbob for your assistance!

I bought a used LCC a coupe months ago ... don't laugh ... but it actually had an original CDW dig mount kit still in a bag with hardware.

First reaction was 'no shit' ......
Second reaction was 'no shit its got stickers too'

Placed an order with SMW for some new 1/8th inch Ti upper links, was really surprised at the difference in weight compared to the 3/16th! Also made some new upper link mounts out of 3mm CF, the 1.5 had a tiny bit of flex which I wasn't fond of.

Thank you much, the motor guards are just those 5hr energy drink bottles. I get the off brand ones cause they're cheaper.

They are also thinner and have the "wrap around area" that covers the endbell.
