Just purchased the wreckluse on RCP Cralwers. I wanted to go with a 1.9 Setup and I followed the recommended link sizes. I purchased 35mm Axial Post for front uppers and 50mm all around. When trying to mock up the front wraith axle, it appears that the 35mm front uppers are not even close to being able to mount.

I was thinking it may be the axle and took my scx10 axle off from the honcho and tried to mock that axle up and the front uppers are still short...What am I doing wrong here? I can make my own links, but would like to know if I did something wrong before I go and make a set.

I appreciate all the help I can get. thanks and Merry X-mas

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What kind of axles can I use for the Wreckluse?
A: The most common axles used will be the Tamiya TLT, Axial AX-10, and RC4WD D40 axles.

Q: What transmission should I use?
A: The skid plate is drilled for an Axial AX-10 transmission.

Q: What length links do I use for my Wreckluse?
A: Depends if you're using 1.9 or 2.2 Tires/Wheels. Keep in mind there is no "Wrong" or "Right" length since it's subjective. Here's what we've found to be the best using our Universal Servo/Link Mounts: (Lengths are the measurement of the link itself not eye-to-eye of the rod ends)

-1.9"
Front Upper - 35mm
Front Lower - 50mm
Rear Upper - 50mm
Rear Lower - 50mm

-2.2"
Front Upper - 55mm
Front Lower - 70mm
Rear Upper - 70mm
Rear Lower - 70mm

Q: What are the dimensions of the chassis?
A: Length: 17" (15" without the stinger)
Width: 7"
Height: 6.25"

Q: Is the Wreckluse made of Tubing or Solid Rod?
A: It is welded solid rod.

Q: How heavy is the bare chassis?
A: Just about 2 pounds.

Q: Is there any kind of replacement policy if I happen to break a weld on the chassis?
A: Yes, please strip all parts off your chassis and send it to us, we'll send you a replacement.

Q: Are spare body panels available?
A: Once the initial demand has been filled we will have extra panels for sale.

Q: Will hoods from different bodies fit?
A: Most of the hoods are not wide enough to fit correctly. We plan to make at least one more different style.

I know what you mean, i've had the same problem....it depends of which 4 links bracket you are using...if you use the one from a SCX10, the upper links will need to be longer than the lower. If you use the AX10 bracket, the upper links will have to be shorter than the lower ones.

Thanks for the input. Ive been looking at all the wreckluse threads here and figured it may be a truss issue with the links not cooperating. I wonder what truss's the builders that run the recommended links use? Do you have a build thread of your wreckluse? Also, if anyone one can shine some light, it would greatly be appreciated.

Does anyone have any recommended links for the following:

1)Axial SCX10 Axles with the stock 4-Link Truss included with the rig (for 1.9 & 2.2)

2)Axial AR60 OCP Axles (for 1.9 & 2.2)

Hello,
has anyone tried shock absorbers Honcho on Wreckluse tuber frame?

I think go well as the frame tubes is heavier and the movement on the rocks should be still most real

If you have pictures of wreckluse with these shocks?

That shocks damper you use? And with what measure from eye to eye?

I've been using 4" traxxas big bore shocks
but the honcho shock will work fine
