| Basher E10
I haven't got mine yet, but picked up one for my son for his birthday. I have been wanting to get him a hobby grade rc for awhile instead of keep buy the cheap crap that gets used a handful of times if I lucky and brake then get trashed. So I got him a E10 since I know he will want to go through water with it and the great price of them. My plan for it after he plays with it stock a little is, Metal lockers Outboard the shocks Move links Lower the center of gravity Add weight to the wheels Shave the housings And maybe rear lockouts, and trim the tires for traction will have to see how it dose. |

Good plan. You may consider adding already weights (maybe disassemble the battery and secure at least some on the axle?) instead to prevent drive train damage, but even then you'll probably bust a driveshaft so keep a couple of spare Traxxas or Axial wb8 shafts handy. ;) Sent from my SD4930UR using Tapatalk |

Well he got it today and I think he almost poop himself lol. I had a little fun playing with it too. One thing I very surprised on the capability of it out of the box and how the tires work on slick tree roots and mud. That's what is in front of the apartment lol. The one thing he did say was is that as fast as it goes lol I kinda knew he would say that. I think a faster motor will be added to my list.

Yesterday I Outboarded the shock and move the lower links inward. But haven't got to test it since the boy was sick. Hope he is feeling better today so I we can test it out and see any improvement. Also when looking at the tires, was thinking of trimming the smaller outside lugs off for a little more open tread design.

It's been awhile. The Outboarded shocks helped with the torque twist, I haven't touched it since but I did test it out myself and it made a climb it wouldn't before the couple free things I did. The charger it came with the end came off so it has been down in just need to get a charger and change to dean's plugs. But this is my next project since I rebuilt the razor mx350 electric dirt bike I picked up cheap for him. |

Yesterday day I picked up a Titan 12t 550 motor which I should have looked at little before hand it's a little big so I'll read drill the skid for it to fit the boy wanted more wheel speed over the stock motor. Also moved the lower links at the chassis to the farthest hole closest to the axles. And picked up a new bright buggy body from a trip to goodwill the other day. Just need to cut the wing off and make body mounts facing up to bring the body as low as possible.

On to some pics since this thread has been kinds worthless of out them. Here is about where the stock body sits. Now here is the lowest it will go The buggy body I found. Still with wing that has to go. Stock lower links and driveline angle and compressed driveline angle. Here is lower links moved forward and compressed driveline angle Much better angles |

Put a pack in it the other day and wow the Titan motor is fast in this truck. Still need to get the electronics mounted back in and a place for the battery. Then test it out. Hopefully I get it done by the time my rig shows so the boy and I can go have some fun.

Finally mounted the electronics, esc on the upper front links, I made a lexan plate. Rx is mounted to the side of the trans. Battery on top of servo for now still have plans for it. But is a lot more fun to drive and the boy loves it even more now since it's got some speed to it. Some new little issues new motor has more torque now too, so I need to dampen the shocks some and give some rebound. Thicker wt shock oil and some limiters or some pen springs. Need to test and tune that. |

Possible but think i can tune it with out them. My son is 10 and is all skin pedal. So making it work for what he wants is fine by me. I have my scale rig I can fab cool stuff for.

It was straight swap. Besides the motor being longer since it's a 550 motor and not a 540. I need to redrill the skid to get it to mount it right. I have it mounted with two screws and not 4. When I get around to it I'll take some pics. |
