I like the new wrap! Not sure on the angled grill, though I guess the servo location is kind of the limiting factor. Its pretty funny how the weight of bodies can be deceiving, I just weighed my Scorcher hard body and its less than many of my lexan bodies. How did the Bomber and Scout ii bodies compare (I'm assuming you weighed them)? |

Broke 2 more Portal gears yesterday. Hopefully they are planning on making an upgrade steel machined part. Sent from my Vivo XI+ using Tapatalk Last edited by mgputer; 04-06-2019 at 07:16 AM. |

Dang that sucks, and thats the Gen 8 not the 7 right? Did that happen while turning or what? I wonder if the housing is deflecting and causing this or if its the gears |

I just think either the pin is weak so it breaks and then blows up the cup or the cup is poor material. The Traxxas has almost the identical gear and it's sintered so they should be able to make it work. One time was a half throttle wheel hop. I thought that the steering had something to do with it so I turned the end points so it only steered about 75%. I figured I shouldn't break one but I broke 2. Upgraded the portal housings. Have some more aluminum parts coming for both. Also the steel trans gears. Sent from my Vivo XI+ using Tapatalk

The front I drilled a hole in the chassis and cage and screwed the cage to the chassis. I made some close outs for the center on my printer and then screwed it to the chassis and cage. Sent from my Vivo XI+ using Tapatalk

Also the stock tires work really well except certain situations so I did a little trimming and they're even better. Sent from my Vivo XI+ using Tapatalk |
