I ordered 3 to see which fits best. I also have option #4 which could entail an entirely new chassis. 1st is the new Pro-line FJ body. 2nd is the 79 Pro-Line F-150 and honcho, 3rd Pro-Line Power Wagon Cab and honcho. The 4th option is still in development lol.

It's sitting on the bench. I might actually use the body as the wheel base will stay the same so I can swap it back and forth.

So I made a little change. Didn't come out perfect but it looks ok. Now I just need to decide what to do with the bed. I have a few ideas but I want to keep it as light as possible.

I have an old tonneau cover at the house I'm cutting up to use as pickup tonneau and tops for tiny jeeps and what not if you want a piece of it let me know, I'll cut you some and send it up.

I'll let you know. I have some from my truck but it's so dried out I think I won't be able too use it.

I also think I might do something like this.

I have been working on a few different ones. The hard part is the fender is so big it's hard to not have something that looks as rediculous. Maybe soon.

So my son decided to drive my scout while I was at work and modified it a little bit by flipping it over and over on the asphalt drive way.

Waiting for paint and supplies for the new body. I wanted to keep this for a swap out but oh well. I guess it's going to be a basher body now lol

My clear body and RTR body are both paper thin towards the bottom. I had the same cracking at the rear by the tail light and I ended up cutting a bit higher to get rid of that snag point. Its almost like they need some reinforcement.

On the bright side having a body you can drive without being worried about scratches is pretty freeing, no need to hold back.

I'm thinking about doing the drywall tape and shoo goo method to those areas on mine before that happens, maybe it'll help maybe not but worth a shot.

That's what I figured. I just couldn't believe how bad he wrecked it on half a battery lol.

I have around 30miles on it and it still looked good.

I was looking at the thin fiberglass for crafting but use e6000 instead of resin.

It works really well. I have also used spent dryer sheets which also work really well. I use it on my ATV and it has held up on the ATV plastic for years.
